American Skin, il film diretto da Nate Parker, affronta i temi della violenza della polizia e del razzismo, ancora radicato nell'America dei nostri giorni.
Racconta la storia di Lincoln Jefferson (Nate Parker), un ex marines afroamericano, che svolge il mestiere di bidello in una scuola, mentre cerca di recuperare il legame con suo figlio. Il rapporto con il ragazzo si è logorato molto dopo il divorzio, ma il padre è pronto a riprendere in mano la situazione.
Quando il giovane viene ucciso da un poliziotto bianco proprio davanti i suoi occhi, Lincoln, deluso dal fatto di non aver ottenuto un processo equo per la morte del suo unico figlio, decide di sequestrare l'intero dipartimento di Polizia e organizzare lui stesso un processo, per ottenere finalmente giustizia.
Il film vede protagonista lo stesso regista e sceneggiatore Nate Parker, affiancato da Omari Hardwick, Theo Rossi e Beau Knapp.

If a trial never occurred, then so be it and move on soldier, be tough enough to NOT fight and kill just even if you nigorantly think it's the right thing to do. As Spike Lee once said "Doing The Right Thing" often gets people killed as depicted so vividly in his classic motion picture that was brilliantly done over 1/4 century ago! Justice and Payback doesn't always mean an 'eye for an eye'. Restraint and moving on with your heart and life soldier, leaves people like this baffled ass to how anyone could , but invariably it will be someone else they do it to, that will end up being their demise. That level of maturity and not thinking Nigorantly will be so much better for the soul.Thanks for the moviie, it was another since the Pandemic that tries to place Soical Justice in the center, which is what they call it, but racism, bigotry, and of course reverse-racism, and the key thing of all, Entitlement", is a shame that the American Society has stooped this low, and at the center of this are the politics of Democracy and always a Libreral Media that knows it all, even when a person doesn't. They cam make it so....and that's sad;y enough some element of power element that they can trigger the masses to believe what "they want" even if it's not real, or true.
