 | Its a movie that doesnt take itself too seriously.Mystique acts in here but doesnt manage to save it though.First 30 mins is unwatchable, but suddenly get better (acting,story) when they find themselves in trouble. |

| This is reasonably watchable for some lightweight entertainment. The acting could have been a bit better but it was good enough for what seemed like non-pros. At first I thought some of the wider shots were filmed somewhere in Africa and the rest in a studio lot; I was sure one of the scenes in the lodge had a 'green scene' moonlight background; I even thought the Safari Park signs were fake, but apparently not, as according to the credits it was all shot on location in Kenya. It seems a kind of 'family affair' as the same names kept appearing on the credits  It has a somewhat predicable plot but enough of a plot to keep rolling. It does take a bit to get going. There is a 'jump scare' at the 46:24 mark - so buckle up  Not everything goes well for the characters and there are a few twists and turn, including literally around the dusty dirt-track roads of the safari park. This is more a movie with a message, that appears to be close to the movie-makers heart, and the entertainment is of secondary importance in the movie-maker's mind and has been bolted on as a way of getting the message across, kind of like how a software manufacturer adds useful utility to a spyware app but this is not sinister. And the movie-maker does make the message loud and clear in an on-screen message just as the closing credits roll  |
