Another blast from the past, 80s electro-pop icon, fashionista and doomsday headbanger Gary Numan returns with his 18th studio album. I can remember going out to the record shop in late 1979 or early 1980 to buy his debut album, The Pleasure Principle, which included the hit single 'Cars'. After all these years, I still crank that one up sometimes. So here we are forty years later with 'Intruder', which continues in the Gary Numan industrial soundscape tradition but with the addition of distorted guitars, which gives certain tracks a Nine Inch Nails kind of vibe. Great to see Gary Numan back in the studio. Light up a spliff, turn on the black-light and enjoy the apocalypse. Thank you to pmedia, for the Hi-res FLAC share!
