@Mafketel "OS.exe" is most certainly NOT "part of the Operating System". Considering this was supposed to a clean install and was NOT (pre)activated, I can only doubt the "hack tools" argument. PS: I searched through my main installation and I couldn't find either the "OS.exe" or even the "C:\Windows\INF\IKGAI\" folder. |
OS.exe is part of the Operating System. The VT scan shows mostly "hack tools". They are often classified as malware/trojan etc. |
I installed it on a virtual machine and after scanning it with Malwarebytes, I found a suspicious (malware) executable file called "OS.exe" hidden in "C:\Windows\INF\IKGAI\". Here's the Virus Total report for that particular file: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/29b2c653c2ee20db6c77cc3793b2fbdb2e289a9e289c4db39b367d020e3c9b58/detection PS: this from a fresh install without any modifications or even activation. |
