Zero to podium is documenting the lives of three Iranian sisters who are Wushu fighters from a small town of Semirom in Iran; Shahrbanu, Soheila and Elaheh Mansourian. They were born into poverty. From an early age their father made them work in the fields to get by financially. When their father leaves them they decided to seek out a better life for themselves. They exercise, join the Iranian national Wushu team, win back-to-back championships and they begin to see a brighter future.
