Dream Routes: Series 1
"Dream Routes" is a three-part film project dedicated to exceptional travel routes through six Southern and Central Asian countries.


1)  The Grand Trunk Road- From Kolkata to Peshawar
In the colonial era, the British developed a route into a highway across the breadth of their realm. Traveling the Grand Trunk Road is an unforgettable experience. From the metropolis of Kolkata, the route runs to the city of Varanasi, one of the most fascinating and colorful places on earth.

2)  The Pamir Highway- From Dushanbe to Bishek
Completed in 1932 as a gift from the Soviet state to its remote regions, the Pamir Highway follows an ancient route through Central Asia to the Roof of the World. With peaks more than seven thousand meters high, the Pamir is one of the poorest and most sparsely populated regions in Asia. The Beauty and Mystery of the East - From Isfahan to Samarkand

3)  The Beauty and Mystery of the East- From Isfahan to Samarkand
From its architectural splendor to its religious tolerance: nowhere is the greatness of ancient Persia more evident than in Isfahan, the starting point for a journey to Samarkand in Uzbekistan. The film highlights festivals, customs, and handicrafts that are still cultivated today.
