Green Delay is the hotly anticipated new album by bassist Jasper Høiby s stunning piano trio, Phronesis. Phronesis made a splash in 2007 with its debut release, Organic Warfare .
Now, Green Delay sees Høiby return to mine the same rich seam of plush melodies and seductive grooves, revealing a maturity and emotional depth beyond his 31 years.
Although officially the second release by Phronesis, Green Delay was recorded by a brand new line-up with Høiby and drummer Anton Eger, now joined by the dazzling young British pianist Ivo Neame. Together, they create music that will delight fans of Esbjorn Svensson Trio, the Avishai Cohen Trio and Keith Jarrett and the ice cool sound of ECM records.
