Terry Brooks is a noteworthy author and a former attorney from America, who is famous for writing novels based on the epic fantasy, urban fantasy, science fiction and literature & fiction genres. This collection includes the Shannara series of books.
The first novel written by Brooks in The Original Shannara Trilogy series was ‘The Sword of Shannara’. The novel was published in the year 1977 by the Orbit publishing house. The plot of the novel revolves around the lives of the main characters, Allanon, Balinor, During, Shea Ohmsford, Dayel, Hendel and Flick. The opening sequence of the novel shows the effects of the ancient wars of the Evil on the mankind. The wars had resulted in the destruction of the world and has forced the humans to compete with other races such as dwarfs, gnomes, elves and trolls. The main protagonist of the novel, Shea Ohmsford is introduced as a half-elf in the peaceful region of the Shady Vale.

I collected titles currently available to complete the series of primary works. I sought out and incorporated the best version of all covers I could locate. Furthermore, I made sure that the Table of Contents was correct and eliminated some entries that were irrelevant. I ran the books through the "Check Book" function in Calibre to validate the ebook structure and code used to create the ebook. The books are unabridged though the source of the ebook I was working with may have been lacking. In short, what you will have here is a solid set of books with chapter separations, Table of Contents, cover, and which passed the Calibre ebook test with no errors.
