E01 Goldrush
Sophie Raworth and Joe Swift kick off a week of programmes from their own back gardens celebrating the very best of RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

They look back over the last ten years of the event and feature the magnificent gardens that have won the highest accolade of RHS Best Show Garden. Mary Berry celebrates one of the greatest rose growers in the Great Pavilion, Arit Anderson looks at the trendiest houseplants, and we join Rachel De Thame in her garden to revel in the joy of tulips. Toby Buckland and Adam Frost share the best of the small gardens, and we relive some of the glitziest celebrity moments. We also launch the BBC RHS People’s Choice of the Decade vote, where the public get to vote on their favourite People’s Choice-winning garden of the last ten years.

Monty Don and Joe Swift take a look back over the last decade of world-class design and horticulture from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show from their own gardens.

E03 Around the World
Monty Don and Joe Swift go on a horticultural journey around the world of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. In this episode, they are joined by Carol Klein, Adam Frost and the team to meet the international fleet of designers and plantspeople who travel thousands of miles to bring fresh ideas and fabulous floral creations to the show each year. Be it from the Caribbean or classic Mediterranean, we also find out how many of the spectacular gardens take their inspiration from foreign lands and cultures. E04 Trailblazers and Trendesetters
Monty Don and Joe Swift take a tour of the trailblazers and trendsetters from the most famous flower show in the world. Every year, Chelsea leads the way in showcasing the latest ideas in garden design and the newest must-have plants. Joined by Carol Klein, Adam Frost and the team, Monty and Joe examine how technology has influenced our gardening habits and meet the fresh talent who are breathing new life into this traditional event. We find out what inspires fashion designer Paul Smith at the show year after year and relive the designs that challenge our notions of what gardens can be.

E05 A Better World
Monty Don is joined by Joe Swift and a team of gardening experts to celebrate the positive power of plants as they continue to share the very best of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. In this programme, they focus on the designers and growers striving for a better world with the creations they bring to the event. We find out how, over the years, the show has contributed to better promotion of the health of our planet, our plants and ourselves. At the heart of Chelsea is a reminder that gardening is good for your physical and mental health. Special guests Ellie Harrison and Fergal Keane join the team to talk about the importance of gardens to wildlife and wellbeing.

E06 Legacies and Legends
Monty Don, Joe Swift and the team look at the legends and legacies that have made the Chelsea Flower Show the greatest event in the horticultural calendar. They discover what it takes to become an icon at this show, talking to the Chelsea designers and plantsmen and women that have broken records, won global recognition and inspired generations of gardeners. We also find out how movers and shakers from other creative fields have been influenced by their visits to the show over the years.

E07 People’s Choice
Sophie Raworth, Joe Swift and the team end the week with a focus on the people’s favourite gardens, plants and personalities. Carol Klein looks at plants with royal aspirations, and we look at how the Queen and other members of the royal family have been involved with the Chelsea Flower Show over the years. There is a look back at some of their most memorable interviews with A-list celebrities who have attended the show, and we reflect on exhibits that marked significant moments in our nation’s history. Chris Bavin discovers the people’s favourite plants in the Great Pavilion, and we discover how tapping into our love of animals has helped designers scoop the small garden People’s Choice awards.

Sophie and Joe also reveal the garden and designer who has won the coveted title of the BBC/RHS People’s Choice Garden of the Decade.

E01 Making the Most of Colour
Nicki Chapman helps you make the most of colour in your own garden, whatever its size. She looks at some of the brightest classic flowers we all love, and finds out how to make them look their best. Our experts will delve into best of Chelsea’s gardens and give us a sneak into their own gardens to reveal how they used colour to make them look amazing. And for a pop of colour, we’ll show you how to create a very modern hanging basket and a vibrant flower arrangement.

E02 Making the Most of Space
Nicki Chapman and the team offer tips on making the most of space in your garden. They showcase some of the most beautiful big plants and reveal why big is beautiful in a small garden. There is advice on creating stunning floral displays with just a few plants, and we’ll guarantee your house has kerb appeal with pretty ideas for floral arrangements and small containers with big ideas.

E03 Making the Most of Nature
Nicki Chapman and the team suggest how to make the most of nature in your own garden. They highlight the best ideas for supporting wildlife in your garden and reveal the best flowers to attract pollinators. There are ideas for water features that not only look great but could help support a whole host of species, and some ideas for beautiful plants to grow in them. Our experts uncover the building blocks of the very on-trend naturalistic planting look, and they show how to create environmentally friendly floral displays.

E04 Making the Most of Your Budget
Nicki Chapman and the team help you make the most of your budget in your own garden. They look back at some medal-winning gardens to find inexpensive landscaping tips for making your garden look amazing. The team share their ideas for packing your borders and containers without breaking the bank, and they find out how to make stunning floral displays from cheap bunches of flowers or even from your own garden.

E05 Making the Most of Your Time
Nicki Chapman and the team help you make the most of your time in your own garden. They reveal some beautiful flowers that are really easy to grow and some plants that need virtually no attention. There are ideas for low-maintenance lawns and border planting that takes very little effort.

We find out why spending very little time on orchids could make them even prettier and show how they can be used in a very Instagram-friendly display that needs virtually no maintenance.
