Description
Karaoke 19000 songs A-B Collection CDG + opus

This COMPLETE Karaoke collection is divided up into 6 sets.

Karaoke 19000 songs A-B Collection CDG + opus 8GB
Karaoke 19000 songs C-E Collection CDG + opus 9.5GB
Karaoke 19000 songs F-J Collection CDG + opus 10GB
Karaoke 19000 songs K-N Collection CDG + opus 10GB
Karaoke 19000 songs O-R Collection CDG + opus 6.5GB
Karaoke 19000 songs S-Z Collection CDG + opus 11GB

Before you even get this massive Karaoke set you should at least
first get this one:
Karaoke Pop Music (2016-2019) 382 songs Collection 1.21GB
and play around with it with VLC to make sure
you're actually into Karaoke or not. Also this has the
PDF karaoke list of 19000 karaoke songs

Just click Karaoke19kPlaylist.m3u playlist file to open in VLC media player
which shows you any artist + song and just browse or search

Each one has the same playlist which is all 19000 songs. (technically 19500)

Each set will work right away but you only have artists
starting with A-B for instance even though the playlist will show all A-Z

Each set will include the same Karaoke19kPlaylist.m3u (playlist)
and PDF listing of songs karaoke 19000 Songs.pdf
and their respective A-Bcdgfiles.zip for instance

The playlist has relative paths so important to keep directory structure
unless you wish to make you own playlist that is.  Just don't forget to
filter out .cdg files in VLC preferences as detailed in the karaokeCDG-OPUS-Howto.pdf

Once you get all 6 sets then combine into the same directory like so:

keep the Karaoke19kPlaylist.m3u in the root directory
\Karaoke 19000 songs

also A-B, C-E, F-J, K-N, Q-R, S-Z all in the subdirectory \ktv

\Karaoke 19000 songs
---\ktv\A-B
---\ktv\C-E
---\ktv\F-J
---\ktv\K-N
---\ktv\O-R
---\ktv\S-Z

This is a small portion of the m3u playlist so you can see the relative paths  ktv/A-B/

#EXTINF:0,Aerosmith   Amazing [SC].opus
ktv/A-B/Aerosmith%20%20%20Amazing%20%5BSC%5D.opus
#EXTINF:0,Aerosmith   Angel [SC].opus
ktv/A-B/Aerosmith%20%20%20Angel%20%5BSC%5D.opus
#EXTINF:0,Aerosmith   Angel's Eye [SC].opus
ktv/A-B/Aerosmith%20%20%20Angel%27s%20Eye%20%5BSC%5D.opus
#EXTINF:0,Aerosmith   Baby Please Don't Go [SC].opus
ktv/A-B/Aerosmith%20%20%20Baby%20Please%20Don%27t%20Go%20%5BSC%5D.opus

Play a karaoke song (opus + cdg) in VLC
then set Video / Deinterlace / Off (so it's not so blurry)
close then reopen VLC. This only needs to be done ONCE.

To save space zipped up the cdg files which saves 31GB.
Combined total download is about 56GB and once cdgfiles are unzipped
then you need 88GB total disk space.

unzip A-Bcdgfiles.zip

move the cdg files into the same directory as the opus files
\A-B
and so on for each respective cdgfiles.zip once you get other sets.

Karaoke 19500 songs December 2018 (done September 2019)
mp3 + cdg ——> opus + cdg

[SF Karaoke] = Sunfly UK Karaoke company
[SC Karaoke] = Sound Choice US Karaoke company

Removed 2850 duplicate songs and deleted SC and kept SF when duplicates were found.
Wow that was a lot of work lemme tell ya.

Converted mp3 files to opus 96kpbs files using fre:ac (freeware) which resulted in a 57GB less file space.
Because opus 96kbps is about 2 to 3x smaller in size. So it went from 145GB down to 88GB.
Some of that space savings is due to 2850 duplicate songs being deleted too.

I played with all sorts of Karaoke software and this is the simplest
solution that I could come up with.  VLC constantly showing only songs and
taking out artists names in the playlist took me a few days to figure out
a workaround.  I included a karaokeCDG-OPUS-Howto.pdf guide so you can
convert your own mp3 + cdg files and see how to make your own playlists.

VLC loves to get id3 metadata tags.  When I converted them I didn’t put any metadata but still VLC wants to just
only put the song names in the playlist and NOT the artist. So my workaround to this was to rename all files like so:

Artist - Song Title.opus ——>  Artist   Song Title.opus

This way when viewing the playlist you can search by Artist or Song name rather than just song name.

source for these karaoke songs
is from Rigmar's Karaoke Collection mp3 + cdg 387GB rar file or 520GB (unrar'ed)
which has 80000 files in one directory.
