When we slow down, we center in. We become more connected to the body, mind, and spirit. We bring intention to our practice, tap into deeper awareness and proprioception, and the movement transforms into meditation.
Moving slow redefines the way we apply strength and control and brings a new level of challenge to the practice. It becomes less about repetition and muscle, and more about focus, steadiness, and resolve. It adds a new dimension of effort, and this process nurtures growth. As we connect to slow, focused movements with clear and beautiful intentions, not only does our physical practice become stronger along with improved alignment and awareness, but our lives become meaningful. We learn to embody service, harmony, and gratitude so we can give our best to others, our community, and the world.
The five Vinyasa flows in this series will challenge and develop these skills while working strength, flexibility, balance and control. Each 60-75 minute class will inspire you to express new depths of your mental and physical practice with clear and thoughtful intentions like growth, humility, and service.
The classes provide modifications for all levels are given as well as opportunities for inversions and arm balances. In each class, Dylan is accompanied by two yogis to help you follow along regardless of your level of expertise. All classes conclude with a soothing savasana featuring live RAV Vast music played by Dylan.
