 | I shouldn't pick on brian williams. I mean, hannity makes 29 to 36 million dollars a year and the only way he makes sense is if you're on shrooms, otherwise he is just mildly entertaining. At least williams is somewhat intelligibly boring. Aside from robert costa, bleh. I don't understand why bill maher likes brian williams so much though, he has a somnolent quality, perhaps that's why. imho hayes, lawrence and maddow are much better pundits. | prof jason is the one being completely dishonest. That poli sci prof jason completely misconstrued what yang was saying, which was actually true. yang didn't get his own policy wrong, he was describing a statistical fact, and a policy while deploying it within a debate format where he of course isn't going to get much time. Yes, to the uninformed viewer the freedom dividend is a lot more appealing than $100 to contribute to any political campaign. msnbc is so infuriating sometimes, the fact that brian williams seems impressed speaks to his density, a pretty voice with a howling echo inside his head. Prior senator claire, and war hero brian williams both jump on the bandwagon of cheerleading prof jason's dumbness. icky in the worst way. this professor is just making an erroneous assumption that if a person struggling with income had an extra $12,000 a year that they wouldn't be more politically engaged. at some statistical level that is just absolutely wrong. it is debatable how much impact it would have, but that it would have some isn't debatable. what a blowhard. $100 for only political contributions, campaign finance reform, and what yang is branding the "freedom dividend" would of course elevate political engagement, especially among all minorities/ethnicities. to turn that into some kind of angle on avoiding racism or being dishonest is really quite idiotic... yeah, like all those white people who refused to vote for obama? give me a break, this guy jason is such a hack who has no semblance of depth of understanding of anything, no nuance like so many apologists of establishment neoliberals clowns. yeah jason how did those polls in 2016 work out for you? this is why I never go on twitter etc, idiocy everywhere. At the end of the day what a wonderful idea it would be to no longer have prof jason on every show on msnbc. How much does msnbc pay all these contributor hacks, nowhere even remotely near a few times over war hero brian william's 10 million dolalrs and all the other hosts mere few millions here or there.
