Nice collection of late 60's pop psych, not as heavy as Arf Arf's other dosages of psych. In fact, comparing it to the other albums is why I gave it only four stars. The other albums are more to my liking. Still, there were six out of the compilation that I really like: the organ and piano intro in "Land of Diana" finishing with trailing vocals; the haunting "Evolution" with occasional searing guitar lead; organ, guitar, and background insane asylum laughter in "Fifth Class Mail" that is the most psychedelic of the bunch; "Venus" easy instrumental that sounds like it should be in the Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" album; and my favorite "Mystery Track" with the slow piano and harmonica including Jefferson Airplane type vocals. The rest of the cuts sound too much like Beatles' Sgt Peppers experimentation to me, but still pretty good. This the beginner album for the label's Psych series. Great packaging with trippy artwork and decent liner notes.
