 | Quality is fantastic. Movie is complete shit. Considering how essential Gage is to the entire plot of the book and , though with effects what they were at the time (piss poor) the film....I despise the direction they went with this. It almost feels like it started as a script for something else and some asshole said "hey , if we swap a few things and add this and this we can call it pet sematary". Shit hollywood has managed to fuck up almost every book King ever wrote , I mean Needful things...no Ace , WTF hollywood , wtf? . And this was just another example of this. And as much as I love Lithgow in many things he has done he couldn't be worthy of digging up Fred Gwynne and holding his jock as the role of Jud. As I said , the quality of the release here:( is top notch , 10/10 if you don't mind the hard code. Would rather watch a 3 A.M. cable airing of Night of the Comet again before I ever re-watch this blasphemy though. |
