 | I saw this documentary at the weekend on TV. Knowing about Bob Fosse (from watching "All that Jazz" a long time ago) I was keen to watch Fosse/Verdon but (showing my appalling ignorance) I'd never heard of Gwen Verdon. From Merely Marvellous though now I know what unmatched talent she had. The documentary said that in her later years she turned to acting and it was a real coincidence a couple of days afterwards to see her in a 1985 episode of the Equaliser (I'm a big fan of Edward Woodward). |
