| Does anyone know of a WIN 10 software, or how to do it in WIN 10 itself to accomplish the following ? To be able to select many files or folders to be moved from diverse system locations (folders), maybe even drag and drop, -then- in one operation copy/move them to a new drive/folder Let me explain further: I have many video and music files that over a period of time have been downloaded to various drives and folders due to lack of space at the time. Now that I have lots of space on new drives, I need to move all those downloads over to the new space that will be better organized. To do it folder by folder will require a lot of intervention on my part. I would love to be able to tag or list those files no matter which folder they reside in now and in one operation be able to move them all together, overnight when I don't need my PC or even over a day or two, all unattended. Any idea if such an animal exists, or if WIN 10 has a hidden work-around ? Help in this would be really appreciated. Cheers to all ! Last edited by BillyBee on 2021-02-08 11:22:43 | |

| Do an extension based search from the root folder (like .mkv) and then select all the ones you want to move. (Then right click, copy/cut, and paste them to your new location) Last edited by battlestar on 2021-02-08 15:57:16 | |

| Soup this looks promising and the 9-day trial seems not to be crippled, so for this one-time need it might work out. Years ago I might have just written a batch file to accomplish this but now I'm just plain too lazy. That's what retirement does to you :P:? | |
