| Hi, I am going to buy a RDP. They are not giving me admin access. Is it safe? I mean if I login my accounts, can admin of that server access it or store information? | |

| It sounds like you are thinking of a Shared RDP which is cheaper than an Admin RDP, it depends on how much you trust whoever owns the server at the far end, as no information given on that it is not possible to advise you. | |

| Assuming you mean Windows then yes. The server administrators will always have the ability to access to your folders (and hence data, unless you encrypt it). This is regardless of whether you also have admin access. Also, your lack of admin will be very restrictive on what you can install and do. Last edited by battlestar on 2020-11-28 17:06:49 | |
