YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED
I sometimes get an angry message telling me I have been banned from TG, and if this has been done incorrectly, I should contact the administrators. Not easy to do when you are banned from the site.
But I discovered (finally) that this is probably because I use the TOR browser, and something is happening in the background (that i do not understand) which makes TG think I am a bigger cybercriminal than everyone else here, or a naughty robot, or something.

Just to the left of the little lock that says https, when using the TOR browser, there is a blue squiggly line with 3 dots on it.
I have at last found that you click this to acquire a new TOR circuit, and TG no longer thinks you are an evil invader.

Thank you, thank you, every couple of years I find out something new about my computer, and this was it for 2023-4

Hello Site admin

An issue I raised some months agao is occurring again.

This morning I was advised by another user that I had sent 7 identical PMs, which I hadn't but on checking my sent messages theres indeed was 7 identical messages, all sent 5 mins apart. On checking I found another message sent earlier was sent 4 times, 5 minutes apart!

This has also happened in the past when other users send me a PM, ie I get multiple copies of the same PM. This hasn't happened to yonks. I can't given specifics as they have been deleted.

Please check my sent items for today.

It can happen to you when you are at any given page. Depending on the amount of traffic there is at that moment.
It's like that for some years now.

I can log in and search the site with no problem. But when I try to download a torrent file, I get a message that the certificate has expired. I've tried on Windows and Android machines (Both have the same problem)

I'm not having any downloading issues. You might want to clear your browser cache and try again.

El Error 502, I believe it's a temporary issue, usually goes away quickly.

The server might be overloaded for a few minutes and/or experienced a brief surge in traffic (quite lots of new users lately) hence which explains the slowness on what most of the users is experiencing.

For me, I just refresh the browser will do.

Onion service (Tor domain) cannot display torrent pages.

Everything else including uploading torrents works fine. This is the error I get on all torrent pages:

It's back to refusing to accept covers on new torrents.  4 new audiobooks and the last three refuse to accept the Amazon links for torrents.

I get that particular error now and again and changing my VPN IP address and reloading the page gets rid of it. 100% so far.

A new comment was made on torrent "Les Humphries Singers (1970) - The Best Of - 320Kbs" by Guest.

When I open the  link in an new windows there is nothing to see. What is going on here. When it happens once in a while now problem. but it happens to often.

This is because staff monitors torrent comments and removes any that violate site rules (usually spammers, trolls and haters).

These are Spammers "comments" which are removed by Staff before they show up in your comments section...usually by "Guest" accounts and usually saying summat dirty or leaving a link of some kind to a cr4ppy sex site or whatnot:_facepalm
The message you recieve is automatically sent when any comment is made, even if it's removed before seen:_pirate
You can turn off the notifications in your settings but then you lose the genuine comments too:_:-(
I don't mind them as it lets you know the Staff here are always looking out for you:_party:_party:_:-*:_love:_pirate

On my profile i have 1787 forum post posted but and cant get more even if i post. Then on forums i have 1980 post but cant get more there even if i post on forum why is this happening ?  Cant rap my head around it

Yes...but every now and again the Staff here clear out old, dead threads and any posts made in them...this is prolly where most of your missing posts were...happens to us all.
You only get notified (events tab) when a single post is removed/deleted...not when mass clearouts happen or when threads get moved/deleted:_pirate
This is as far as i'm aware of course...:_pacman...i cannot see behind the curtain myself:_eyes so Staff will prolly know for sure:_party:_pirate
