In reply to your post: the 18+ filter only applies to torrents in the XXX section and to avatars that have been marked 18+ in user settings.

The  :_boob: don't fall under the 18+ filter as it's just a fun status and not something related to XXX or 18+.

On the forums the 18+ filter also does nothing except hide avatars that have been marked 18+. Threads with 18+ content you can recognize as it's in the title of the thread. Any user not wanting to see 18+ content should not go to such threads.

Your avy does not show to me as I have the filter on and you marked it 18+.

Just tested and when I mark my avy as 18+ it won't show to me anywhere, neither on forum or on my profile page. It does sometimes take a minute for the change to show all over site, same with if you change your gender in settings.

No it's not a bug it's so you are made aware of anything that's going on with torrents you uploaded and to give you the option to reply to people who made the comment... the system will msg regadless of who made the comment.
