 | It's as bad as I thought it was going to be. The story seemed all over the place. Casting of Kevin Hart aws Roland makes no sense. - It was nice to see some of the games elements and moments brought to life. But that wasn't enough to save the move from just how awful it was in the end. Like watching a car crash happen in front of you. |

 | I don't see how this could be *that* bad if you just take it for silly entertainment. But I do know bad direction & editing can ruin a movie on their own ("The Exorcist: Believer" & "Chaos Walking" being two recent examples imo that even I gave up on), so we'll see. I'll update with what I think for those who may care. |

| Ok, 30 minutes in and yea, it's not good. But it's not really horrible: I've seen much worse. Basically cringe dialog, so-so special effects, cheesy/corny overall plot & created world. So bad given the cast & budget, but not bad considering it's still entertaining. I'll finish it. |
