An exceptional tale of how allowing others' chosen beliefs to interfere can rob oneself of living a full & joy filled life. Completely relatable no matter what tribe you are, which religion you believe in or where you live. They share the tragedy of daily life experiences, when a relative is terminal & everybody's "busy" lives are interrupted by death of the patriarch. Enjoyable movie on a difficult topic: relatives.

 | Thank you TGx for another fantastic week of great downloads, as there were plenty to choose from, and it's only Monday! :) In any case "Donkeyhead", because we have via my wife's subscription, NF forever it seems & it's cool, especially when you guys get them earlier then they show up in the states! Not sure why that happens at times, but hey it's awesome, and much appreciated! :) The torrent was excellent and I still for the life of me don't understand why ppl don't rate the torrent where the stars are located, and the movie, down here? This is just for edification with respect to the torrent but the A/V on the torrent was perfect as always A/V=10/10...and above = 5 stars. Have no idea how anyone knowing how this works would ever give any of the torrents a 1 or a 2, as they must not be able to see or hear properly, or perhaps need to use vlclan? I have no clue, but whatever...think they never had anyone explain it to them like I had via "BigBoy" when I first got here, and would have thought the same thing. This is where I rate the movie. 1 out of 5 stars, duhhhh! Lol how would I know, and I still think the system is warped but whatever. I just go with it after a couple years! ;) With respect to the movie, having lost some close relatives, like my son and Mom(really early in life) and not knowing what this was about going into the movie, this was a difficult watch for me, to be perfectly honest. I think the acting was done well, and think the movie was good & just bc it was tough for me to watch it, doesn't mean others can't. If you enjoy drama's, with a very good plot, that complete a well written story, script, and a well acted movie, this would be right up your alley. It's not the type you will find with any action or suspense added so be prepared for "emotions", if you have "feelings" toward the movie, one way or another, or possibly both! :) All in all, would give the Movie a M=6.0-6.5 as I don't know where it will fall on IMDB, but think it's good not great, even though I'm doing my best to take my own feelings out of the movie, and give a fair review, which think I've written it above. Hope everyone does enjoy "Donkeyland". and thanks again TGx for bringing it to us! :)  |
