| :warn PLOT SPOILERS AHEAD :warn No way is this a one star movie. A slow filler as opposed to a slow burner (geddit?) A depressed woman (October 2017 calendar stuck on an empty - bar a jar of jam - refrigerator, mail piled up behind the door...) ends up trapped alone in a basement futilely trying to save her carefully curated memories (photographs, toy giraffe...) as she is drowning - literally. This slowly builds up to a gripping climax in the final fifteen minutes. You just want it to be over - but B)8) Nice underwater photography conveying a sense of being trapped. Maybe it wasn't woke enough for some peoples :D The only nod to 'wokeness' is that going by her photographs she appeared to have been in an inter-racial relationship 8o :D:-@ The acting is decent enough and does the job despite the presence of an acting coach in the credits :D:-@ Just short of one hour and fifteen minutes so won't detain you long in any case :D And yeah, maybe the sump was broken just like the handle broke off the door :D:-@ |

| How ridiculous is this concept; a "thunderstorm" will completely flood your basement- for the first time. No windows or door to escape through. No sump pump either because you know, there's never been water down there before in any other storms. |
