Bruno Fioretti, known as "Mandrake", is an inveterate gambler who never misses a day at the horse racing track in Rome. Three friends without a job, spend their time in the racetracks. The trio is always looking for a good shot to settle down definitively and desperately hope for a bet that will win them a lot of money.
