Three years after the Jurassic World theme park was closed down, Owen and Claire return to Isla Nublar to save the dinosaurs when they learn that a once dormant volcano on the island is active and is threatening to extinguish all life there. Along the way, Owen sets out to find Blue, his lead raptor, and discovers a conspiracy that could disrupt the natural order of the entire planet. Life has found a way, again.



A tre anni di distanza dai fatti di Jurassic World, Isla Nublar sta per essere sommersa da lava vulcanica. Il governo deve decidere se salvare i dinosauri superstiti che la popolano o se lasciare che la natura faccia il suo corso. Eli Mills propone a Claire di coinvolgere Owen per una missione di salvataggio, che recuperi anche il Raptor super-intelligente Blue.
Dopo 25 anni l'inverosimile espediente che ha dato vita al bestseller di Crichton e alla celeberrima serie sulle lucertole terribili trova infine un suo inatteso senso ultimo nel quinto capitolo (o secondo di una nuova trilogia, a seconda dei punti di vista).
