 | Thx TGxTV ,always excellent and w/subs. I read the novel over 5 years ago. Jeff Bridges is excellent in this. Whoever choreographed the fight scenes that took place in his house, got the realism spot on. In the novel his daughter is married/w 2kids and not working for the FBI. The show decided to go in another direction with her. There are more changes with the characters, but it might be spoilers for some, so I recommend reading the book for yourself, it's a not long read, but it is a good one,if you like the spy/espionage based genre. Thomas Perry isn't La Carre, or Deighton (my favorites) but he does a good job in the cat and mouse aspects in all his books I recommend The Butcher's Boy series abt a professional assassin, it's really good. |
