To everyone talking about why not post an intact Blu-ray, that's literally the point of a remux. A remux has audio and video uncompressed and at full quality, but removes the menus. Most of the time, subtitles from web-dl of the film and other discs are added. Sometimes even audio tracks from other discs are included, like commentary or isolated scores, especially if the one on the 4K is lacking for some reason. If you want a complete Blu-ray, webmaster's uploads are not for you. These uploads are for people with Android TV streaming boxes like myself (Nvidia Shield) connected to a TV—in my case, an LG OLED G3. Hence why MKV is used: it's more compatible and just works. It detects everything beautifully, and subtitles from Open Subtitles can be used if your preferred language isn't included in the subtitles. In my personal opinion, even if I had an Oppo, I would still rather buy an Nvidia Shield and get remuxes instead, because they are far superior to full Blu-ray discs. |
You are absolutely right, until you say remuxes "are far superior". They're not. They're just manipulated files. You can't compare that to a graphic presentation and interactive elements of a blu-ray disc. BUT, when it comes to versatility, yes, they're more versatile. Not superior. |
I watch these Remuxes on my Samsung TV with HDD connected, without streaming. |
I watch these Remuxes on my Samsung QN90C TV, from a HDD connected to a Vero 4K+ (Kodi) media box. |
+1 i watch remuxes on LG TV 's native player using Plex server DLNA service, so i dont have to "move" or attach usb disks to tv. Quality is insane. |
The entitlement in here is uncanny. If you can buy whatever this oppo thing is, you can buy UHD discs. Stop whining, folks. |
BD Complete are relegated to Private Trackers. PERIOD. You guys should be happy we are getting the REMUXes from Webmaster32 and others after the downfall of Scene as a whole, read up SPARKS raid it caused a chain reaction. Then you have in gaming release groups big changes happened, Conspiracy (known as CPY), STEAMPUNKS all are MIA after COVID causing a big void in Denuvo cracks. EMP caused a havoc with SKIDROW and caused self damage. CODEX also left causing shift of balance loss in the scene... Then you got the big hammer on RARBG shutdown. All things above are a total loss for us. REMUXes in 2024 are rare breed, I'm happy at-least we are getting the torch passed onto the Webmaster32 gentleman doing god's work here by giving us quality uploads and his self releases. OPPO BD owners you should go to Private trackers if you want BD Complete and for most of us who use Shield or just direct PC playback or Zidoo boxes need these REMUXes to enjoy the movies of the old times as modern hollywood is a joke. That said thanks to Webmaster32 for your efforts. |
you dont need to goto private, most is here after a day or so, its really not that hard for oppo owners to download a remux and turn it into a bdmv folder, just use donis dolby vision tool box v0.63.1, these people instead of asking might actually learn something and not rely on others, its all free |
Thank you You are the best, Posting all these wonderful movies. |
Does anybody know in advance if the Spanish audio track is Spain or Latin spanish? Thank you! I love you! ^^ |
after download i can report the spanish audio track is latin spanish. |
Well to leave the topic, it is clear that the uploaders are governed by the general devices, regarding the size of the menu I have taken a full 4k blu ray I make a remux with all its audios and subtitles and the menu does not even mark 4gb or even less Well, not in other players but at least in OPPO 205 and 203, and Egreat A10, and ZIDDO UHD5000, they NEVER play the ATMOS in a remux, they convert it to lcpm or multichannel, and the movies with Dolby Vision are played in HDR, Do they sound good and look good? Yes, of course, but it will NEVER be the same as having full Blu ray, be it 4K or normal Blu ray, in the same way, the uploader is appreciated for his effort, but many of us are left wondering why not upload them in full Blu ray if the difference in GB is Minimum, I have 41 HDDs, out of 20 they are 16TB, I don't see any major problem with saying "the menu is going to consume a lot of additional space" in our case, those of us who enjoy full movies, there is no problem with the menu size more 5gb.... |
i also have an oppo if you play the original files, most of the time the audio doesnt work correctly, so i put it through dvdfab on main movie only and remux it that way then the audio works correctly, twister doesnt have dolby vision so playing it in a mkv remux file is identical to the original source no difference at all. if you google dolby vision toolbox the mkv files that people upload you can convert the dv mkv remuxes into original 4k bdmv files that do play perfectly on oppo in dv and atmos, you can also do this with the l8 hybrids as well. but if you want a cheaper easier way just buy a 4k firestick max and use plex it plays everything perfectly |
"Cheaper easier way" is what most people can afford. |
I have hundreds of 4k movies with full menu, I have never had a single audio problem with the OPPO 205, even my brother has the OPPO 203 and zero problems with the audio using both normal Blu Ray and full 4K |
It wont be necesary an OPPO, I also have a cheap Chinese Egreat player and it also perfectly plays the files of a pure 4K disc with a full menu, it even allows you to choose between "movie only" and "navigation", the point is that it is much more "pretty" "A full menu release, the menu weighs practically nothing, but it is somewhat curious why do a "rip" just to remove the menu, since in the end the "encoder" leave all the audios and subtitles,So it's practically the same size but you lose the nice thing about the full menu feature only for 1gb or max 2gb menu size... |
Millions of people use android based devices like the Chromecast or FireTV to stream movies with plex or jellyfin. MKV files work best with these apps. That's why FGT remuxes were so popular back in the day |
Hello, thank you very much for the contribution, I wonder why if you have the pure Blu ray source code, why not upload it like that? The GB difference is very minimal since 4K discs rarely come with extras, I appreciate the effort but definitely the best are the pure 4K releases, that is, the complete disc, for example I have an OPPO UDP 205, one of the best players in the world, if I play a mkv it does not detect the Dolby Vision and neither does the Dolby Atmos, but if I play the pure movie with its menu intact, OPPO detects and plays everything as if it were a physical disk |
OPPO is one of the best, but it's expensive. Look up Zidoo. That's what I have and it plays everything I throw at it. |
