Hayat is an expert seafarer who spends her days sailing in the fog and silence of the Arctic ice, driving enormous boats that require daily attention. Accompanied only by her thoughts and sporadic conversations with the other members of the crew, the skilled sailor spends her time in a dimension of solitary harmony, interrupted only by the painful memories of a traumatic childhood, spent in France with her sister minor Leila. When the latter gives birth to a little girl named Inaya, Hayat begins to ask himself deeply intimate questions and question her lifestyle: perhaps the time has come to seek stability and make peace with the demons of past?
