I thought the exact same thing |
This is a Movie you want to see at a Theater. What Theaters were made for. |
I dunno sitting in front of a 75" screen at 10 feet away with a really good stereo blows the theater away imo |
If it doesnt make enough $, more wont be made. We need to be patrons of the good stuff. it aint a joke. Theres more than enough dreck out there that gets showered with $$$. for the love of god, please see this in cinema. Download here too, but go to the cinema also |
If you had a decent set up at home you would never want to go to a theater again!!! Save the money of the tickets and buy yourself a decent setup dude |
Yeah, I dunno... 77" OLED with a good Atmos surround sound system beats the theatre these days. Not sure I'll ever make my money back... but it was hardly an investment. Haha |
Probably the best CAM I've seen. V8/A4 in my opinion but the A takes some tweaking with an equalizer to make it 4. Still got the Slots crap though, which is unavoidable but gets less noticeable over time (to me). Apparently this entire story was already written/conceived before the first Furiosa started filming. |
i started to type my comment then realized i was about to comment on a CAM version, what was i thinking |
In the last Mad Max they made him a secondary character, and now they erased him for good. |
That's probably why they explain the title that it's a Mad max saga |
"They" is George Miller, the creator of the series, executing the plan he's had for the series for several decades. |
Tried to ignore all the woke anti hype and watched it with an open mind. Ends up being a dull and forgettable movie that falls short of its predecessor. Takes itself too seriously with none of the memorable insanity from Fury Road. CGI is also cartoonishly bad, obvious even through a cam rip. |
A true "telesync", camera likely mounted right in the projection room with autofocus turned off. Very good quality for a cam, might wanna hold out for the hd versions of this same cam, which may already be out. Or better yet, go see it in a frickin theater. I did last night and it was phenomenal. |
I did in IMAX, yes it's Good !....something that can't be said abt. 99 % of the films today |
Watched this in cinemas and besides a few good action scenes feels like a overlong waste of time! Not to mention a lot of the CGI looks like shite. Chris Hemsworth at least seems to be having a blast! The rest of this is just super meh IMHO. |
Girly Mad Max. Another franchise killer. Mel Gibson is the one and only Mad Max. |
I couldn't get past all the stupid ads they put on the screen. I don't normally go after these releases and now I remember why. I wanted to give this movie a shot I was turned off with all the quick twitch nonsense, speed up the film to make it look like everyone was on meth or something, that was going on. I get it, it's Mad Max and it's a thing they do, just wasn't happening for me. Another thing they did was made everything "modular", fixing the bikes and things was a simple as hitting the quick release and boom put on another tire or whatever. It just made the movie seem very unrealistic and I lost the immersion. I turned it off, I may give it another shot once a better release happens, but it's not high on my list. The movie did not seem like a Mad Max universe, it was a weird branch off that found a home elsewhere. 3.5/10, maybe a better version I'll go higher, but who knows if I even watch it. |
Ads: On screen logo during whole video that move across screen. Large ads @ 3:05 - 3:19 & 2:15:54 - 2:16:09 Interrupting Ads @ 10:05 - 10:35 & 51:56 - 52:26 Video: Typical washout but very watchable. Night scenes are very dark, be warned. The movies also utilizes Spanish subtitles for chapter titles and scene establishments. Audio: Quiet audience. You can make out most of the audio from the movie but the accents can make it difficult to understand certain characters and scenes. Movie itself: Fantastic. They traded in the grand cinematic feel in Fury Road for a more action packed movie that fleshed out the world of Mad Max. A tad longer than I'd like but enjoyable all the same. A/V: 6/7. Thanks so much for the upload! |
I never really wondered about why the Mad Max guys would think a global desert was in our future. It was just a random possibility. Now we have "fire season". Seems like a lot less fun to frolic in now. But, wtf, I'll probably watch it eventually, just to miss Tina Turner. My favorite Acid Queen. |
This movie is unwatchable. And it's not because it's CAM quality. Hot garbage. |
