 | This episode is historically inaccurate........ with regards to the architect John Roebling who designed & engineered the building of the Brooklyn Bridge.....the bridge was completed & opened in 1883 as the storyline suggests.....but John Roebling wasn't there to see the completion of the bridge, he died 14 years earlier in 1869, only his wife Emily saw the completion of the bridge. so much for the shows executive producer Julian Fellowes keeping history intact. |
