my boy Rico, conqueror of the bugs! when i saw Starship Troopers i was a kid and i honestly presumed the dude would become a movie star, but no, he faded. his role in the starship troopers sequels were shocking, and i guess this explains why his career was as thrilling as watching kamala giving a lecture about the cryptic side of john milton's writings. |
Yep, troopers is also the first thing that I think whenever I see him. |
That's because you guys confuse a movie (plot, special fx) you like with acting abilities. |
maybe he didn't want to sunk D**K, and get bent over. you do know that's a thing to get ahead in holly-weird. just listen to some Katt Williams interviews. |
Starship Troopers was a terrible movie. It was far worse for me because I read the very good book it came from long before they made the film. When I see Casper I just think of him as "the former Mr. Catherine Oxenberg". |
9091 Or... Maybe it's just a good director that can pull out a semi-decent acting from anyone. Yet, I don't think my comment leaves room to assume any confusion from my part, does it? |
How good is an actor when only one director in all of his career can inspire him to some "semi-decent acting"? Sure, no confusion here. |
6.8 IMDB rating. Must be a really crappy movie. Usually really good movies have about a 5.5 Rating. I have seen so many 5/10 IMDB Rated movies that were more like 7/10 & 7/10 IMDB Rated movies that were more like 2/10 |
It may be a humongous stretch, but you might want to go by your own judgment instead of what total strangers anonymously claim they think of the movie. |
Yep, IMDB rating don't mean Jack, unless your name is Shirley |
Casper Van Dien, Jeff Fahey, Louis Mandylor, Jennifer Wenger, Devanny Pinn : always good for a laugh |
Casper Van Dien was good for a laugh, in fact the whole movie was good for a laugh, in 'Mad Heidi' |
2 B-list actors and 1 D-list (Mandylor). An American soldier with long hair and facial hair (which weren't allowed AT ALL) and a style of facial hair that wasn't even worn in the civilian world of that era. A-list actors have to shave and get haircuts for roles all the time yet the producers of this stinker let Jeff-freakin'-Fahey get away with NOT doing it??? Hard pass. |
