Zane Grey Theater was an anthology series based, mostly, on the works of Zane Grey.
Grey was a writer of westerns, and this show used both his short stories and books
as inspiration (works by other writers were also adapted when the Grey material ran out).
Dick Powell hosted, and Harry Lubin provided the music (the song "Way Out West" opens
and closes the show)

| I appreciate the effort but none of these episodes will play in any video player, I've tried several, I either get cannot render files or they play for a few seconds and freeze up :( |

 | @ Guest 4251, I haven't had any problems, after your comments I have tried VLC Player and open source free download, also media player and convertxtodvd, no problems. Perhaps you might consider trying VLC player |

In addition to the success of works, his books have second lives and continuing influence, adapted for films and television.
