 | I love Tom Hanks he is still a great actor but this movies was VERY flat and uninteresting I think it's the only movie I watched till 10 minutes from the end then turned it off as I didn't care for any of the people in the movie nor did I care for the ending/outcome. |

| I can only think that you're too young to have really connected with Hank's character and the realization of his loss, as it was revealed over time. For myself, I was captivated by his character and the depth of his meaninglessness. I found the ending uplifting. |

| The second movie in the past week to reduce me to tears! This movie is one to give your full attention to, so no flipping back and forth to the news headlines and skimming your emails at the same time: it builds slowly, but it turns out that is absolutely the pace at which it needs to develop. It's how we allow change most of the time, after all- reluctantly, doubtfully, fearfully, skeptically. But change does happen- and this film will warm your chilly heart and you will love its meddling and needy but well-meaning and generous characters. A lovely way to spend an evening and highly recommended. Have a hanky ready! |

| Thank you for a proper review, I think a couple of the negative reviews here were not to be listened to based on a trailer and somebody giving it 5/10 because "it was a family movie" (obviously no naked women and no murder  ) Its Tom Hanks and it will be good.

| Original is "A Man called Ove".
Some people will give this an 8 even for just Tom Hanks being in it. I watched the trailer and didnt like it. Liam Neeson probably would have done a better job being all grumpy while still being believable. I dont buy this role from Tom hanks at all. But hey its just 800MB so i will give this a go and appreciate the upload Tgx.

| This is Nevermore669. As a man in the later stage of life, may I say that Hanks was as good in this as he always has been. As a younger man, I was always moved by the Hero stories so prevalent in film today. There is a congruence between our time of life and the stories that really move us. As an older man, I was moved by this story. You may not connect with it as I did, but trust me, it's a classic (or should be), and you will some day. Enjoy this film as you can; it is very, very, good. |

| The decline of poor old Brucey has been sad to see  But he was never as good as Hanks... Philadelphia, Sully, Captain Phillips -- they were all (IMHO) better than Otto; and Hanks at his run-of-the-mill is still better than most at their best. |
