Comparing to my current collection... The picture quality is generally a little better here, but original mini-series doesn't quite hit the remastered quality uptick that was released a while ago, though I appreciate it's less zoomed in allowing us to see more in frame. That said... ...The frame rate runs a little too fast (Looks like you encoded 23.97Fps source at 25fps) ...Aspect ratios are off a bit (can confirm yourself by viewing anything that's circular like car tires). This is petty noticeable in the TV series where the ratio should be around 1.278 vs this at 1.223. Not a bad effort, not great. Some minor adjustments in the encoding and this would be the current definitive collection. If I find the time maybe I'll fix it. |
Way back when I was a kid growing ................... used to stay up late to watch this before school the next day. |
Nice work. Thank You. One thing why are people still using x264 when we have x265 which has shown to be better especially 10bit+ |
Because 265 sux and no equipment supports it Some folks just want to use the lastest fang-dangled codec just for the sheer hell of it; like feel real smug with ma 265 playa, and everyone else will have to waste their hard-earned dollas 'upgrade' and filling to garbage truck with 264 Rulz |
Thank you very much! This is a must have! I'm downloading, and I'll seed for a long time! |
What version is 3.V.(1984-1985).The.Series ? I can't find subtitles for this version :( |
I'm not sure where you'd find any after all this time. You could try subscene or do a Google search for subtitle sites. Good luck. |
