Daft movie . Sit by the car window that its attacked through already really . Enter crocodile infested waters not once but three times yet 2 big crocodiles did not even bat an eye although there was blood in the water . |
Thought Beast was a good one time watch. Not a bad movie at all. Just not a great movie. Funny how the help arrives just a minute too late in every movie or how the cops arrive at the end of every Thriller Movie. I thought the CGI Lion was pretty good. That fight between the Lion & Idris was Brutal. |
Great sharing been waiting for this very long ... love Idris Elba .... Thanx bro |
I saw Idris Elba, clicked download, got prepared, movie began, then disappointment and a sinking feeling in my stomach - I have to agree with LL's comparison, which btw is brilliant, to Sharks and Deep Blue Sea! |
We can agree Babes!!! And Thank You |
That'll teach you downloading because of one name. Though I have my doubt that it in fact will. |
Dont listen to the comments. The Movie is nice and watchable, cant say its top rated but its worth watching. |
This is not great but it is worth watching |

Thank you for a great torrent GalaxyRG A/V is excellent as always... but I knew I shouldn't have downloaded this I love Idris Elba, and the acting is high standard throughout. Unfortunately, it was Panthera leo for me. I spent the last year of my undergrad' collecting behavioral data on lions in a UK safari park, then another year in SA collecting lion data in a game reserve. This is to lions, what Deep Blue Sea (not even Jaws) was to sharks My wife said, "Now I know what I sound like when we watch Grey's Anatomy." Apparently, I complained a lot |
That's why it's called "fiction" and not released on NatGeo. |
@guest-2671 that's quite a spicy comment when the movie begs us to see the believability and ferociousness of the lions. We know it's fiction, but based on how savage the lions were acting, you'd think they solely hunted humans for the fun of it. I was expecting a bit more "Ghost in the Darkness" not Deep Blue Sea |
One. One single individual lion, tosgravely. Not any other as you will have seen in the movie. The movie also shows the real beast: humans. All of them? No, just a handful. |
@guest-3469 yes I said lions when I meant one. But if you want to get technical and snippy, there was a lion fam at the beginning of the movie that was slaughtered. Yes, it highlights the fact that some men are beasts (the poachers), it also displays a giant, blood-thirsty lion that has no real world qualities |
Correct, the lion pride got slaughtered at the beginning of the movie. What's your "technical and snippy" point? It's still just ONE lion that goes rogue, NONE of the other lions in the movie. There is not one species that doesn't know individuals to go berserk. Only humans go willingly berserk, like the poachers. |
Mrs. Biologist, aren't there quite a number of reasons why an animal might deviate from its species' usual behaviour? |
L-L what can you possibly mean? 2 male lions sharing a pride & frolicking with their fav humans when they drop by, another that feels the human emotion of rage & revenge over survival? All seems total textbook . Was a good 1 time watch. |
(1) Depends on what you mean exactly by "deviate" and "usual", but within certain parameters, yep. (2) An adult tigress fell asleep with her head on my lap once, and I've played soccer with a Kodiak Brown Bear (he cheated) -- but neither were born, raised and living "in the wild". This was fun fiction, I'm an |
An animal with a brain tumour can show abnormal behaviour. Do animals know PTSD? |
I've heard of Lions going after Humans because they had an Abscessed Tooth & it made them Very Angry They were out for an Easy Kill. |
ToeCutter >> Next time you're at a zoo with nice big observation windows, try getting a big cat's attention, then hunch over, and limp exaggeratedly away from the enclosure window. Predators like lions will go for anything that looks weaker than/stands out from those around them = easier kills. |
