 | This is one of those movies that keep you on 'edge' because you just know that however tranquil things may seem and how the movie tries to lull you into a false sense of security you know, just know, that something is about to happen, you can never relax because something is going to come out of left-field, through a window or something  Boom   |

| This is kind of like  Bond expect it is much better than Bond 1. The 'villain' isn't an over-the-top cartoon character  2. The action set pieces - and they are a lot of them - are very well done. No cardboard sets and couldn't- make-it-more-obvious deliberate green/blue screen like Bond 3. This is filmed on location. No cheap sets in Pinewood Studios pretending to be Cuba or some place. 4. Talking of Cuba Ana de Armas would give any Bond girl a run for her $money$ 5. Attention to detail. One of my pet peeves it when they film the reverse shot of an actor speaking and it is obvious that they aren't speaking or it is out of sync. In the reverse shot the actor is actually speaking. If you enjoy action thrillers with fantastic set pieces, car chases, explosions, this come highly recommend And surprisingly from Netflix we never noticed any 'woke' lectures maybe they were in there but we were too busy enjoying the action or ogling Ana de Armas/Ryan Gosling Pro tip: The credits fire up 16 minutes out from the end of file/movie There are nice statuesque representations of the actors at the top of the credits but there are not Marvel-esque 'hidden'/'extra' scenes not even after the Netflix dubbing credits that go on for an age |
