In May 2013, "Scorpion Child" released the eponymous debut album. The disc consists of nine hit hard fatal things, recorded completely on analog equipment. Five musicians from Austin, Texas, "Scorpion Child" have spent the last few years in thorough preparation for their big debut. The group includes guitarists Chris Cowart and David Finner, bassist Shaun Avants, drummer Shawn Alvear and singer Aryn Jonathan Black, who, according to feedback from the audience, resembles a wonderful mix of Robert Plant and Ronnie James Dio.
