| this was supposed to be a return to the more optimistic future of earlier star trek,its not. lots of dark stories and gore as usual for kurtzman. as for all the woke defenders,once upon a time star trek could tell an interesting story and not feel preachy,these days the writers cant do that,so they fall back on all the typical bullet points of what they think should be in the show but they just cant make it interesting or fit into a coherent story. |
