Great Movie..... Kind of sucks that they are using a different guy for the candyman part..... All in All.... not as good as the first couple.... But kept me interested in it.. Tks to the uploader |
Woke garbage at its finest. Activism masquerading as filmmaking. Jordan Peele has lost the plot. |
I really enjoyed this!!! I recommend watching the original film right before this viewing as its a sequel to the original yet with differences! I appreciate both films |
Thanks @helpme I finally put two and two together haha! And yes it is supposed to signify a mirror, I appreciate your reply thank you! Its also addressed if you search on Google |
Right, Left, who cares! If you haven't realized now, this is what the government wants...division among the populace. There's only strength in overall unity. Power lies with the people. Unfortunately many don't believe. |
The only thing scary about this movie is if I would have wasted $20 on this. |
@PsychoLilThing - I saw it in movie theaters and the flipped logos at the beginning were intentional (I was freaking out at first that they ran the film backwards). I guess it's supposed to signify that it's a mirror image since that's one of the themes of the movie. |
Yet again, Jordan Peele succeeds in creating great racially tinged social horror for an audience that has so very often been underrepresented in this genre. Candyman was great and most definitely stayed within the canon already established in prior films, with many original cast members returning in some form or another. This is a direct sequel to the 1992 Candyman film and it was definitely a good choice to have Jordan Peele write the screenplay as he's someone who can absolutely tackle the same social/racial themes that were alluded to in the first film and find new, different ways to incorporate them for modern audiences. Of *course* the RWNJ would have something to say about a film written by a prolific black screenwriter with a penchant for horror interspersed with racial, social, & socioeconomic commentary 🙄 Leave the rest of us to our freedom to watch what we want without your poltical "reviews" of a film you admittedly hadn't even seen yet. Y'all are so very much in favor of personal freedom, yeah? If you're so bothered by "woke" media then why not just watch movies and shows written for a conservative audience? Oh wait, that's right...they're all crap |
As usual the one right-winger is incorrect. I'm most of the way through the movie and it's passable. It's not the original two movies but certainly a hell of a lot better than most of the crap that's come out lately. Right-wingers really need to stop watching Fox News cause it's only a comedy show, not actual real news. I really appreciate the upload and the movie itself. |
didn't rate this at all good quality upload film itself audio / video 9 |
I never found the first Candyman scary And I found the recent Scooby Doo more scary than this Candyman The last movie that genuinely scared me was the first Paranormal Activity - had me sleeping with the lights on for six months It is very hard to scare me, I am telling ya! |
I never liked the 1st version so im on the fence about this one. Think i will go with old......thanks for the up/ |
