| some clarity and expansion on the previous comment. the thrust of blm is actually setting the opposite tone of every wise and thoughtful black parent who explains to their children that whenever encountering police always be courteous and follow any non-optional instructions. this is good advice for everyone, regardless of ethnicity. trevor noah in talking about mr blake got literally only one thing peripherally correct, in describing the gangster vigilante double murderer occurring after this tragedy. other than that though, noah basically is a mere additional example of the profoundly counter-productive brainwashed group-think that is extremely harmful to actually building coalitions to reform laws or better yet improve society. for every jacob blake there is a dylan noble, for every george floyd there is a tony timpa. really ask oneself, are there riots, belligerent hoards, or even peaceful protests forming after those killings claiming racism against whites? racism does exist, but this hysteria is rife with incorrect conflation, is a ridiculous direction for culture, and is total and complete joke for a "movement". more like the opposite of a movement, divisiveness as a severe regression that the media is idiotically encouraging to try to help "biden". that plus social media may in fact elect trump again, in addition to the litany of vulnerabilities outlined extensively here. george floyd had lethal levels of fentyl in his blood, a drug responsible for literally tens upon tens upon tens of thousands of overdose deaths every year in america. and contrary to trevor noah's lie on his segment on blake, floyd did resist arrest, twice the officers tried to put him in the back of the car and he resisted/refused to simply sit in the car. the minnesota legislature's police department training is then precisely what the officers did to floyd. every police department trains their officers, black or white, that if a person has non-compliance with directions of police and isn't yet restrained, that is the very definition of threat of use of deadly force. this isn't "feelings" time of being nice. simply follow police directives if you are innocent and there is no problem. otherwise, expect to potentially die regardless of ethnicity, when you don't follow police directives and instead ambiguously move, or hide your hands, or otherwise behave erratically while non-complying to police. racism isn't the answer to nearly everything. |
