OK first let me say, I like sleepers, movies that Ive never heard about that turn out decent. Im tired of big budget movies that replace great acting with tons of CGI and special affects, Movies that dont make you think you just mindlessly go through it and wonder how much all the CGI cost. Yes this movie is low budget..very low budget BUT the acting was very good you could feel it. It made you think "What if?" over and over it makes you wonder where it will go and how they will end it. The ending may not be liked by all because it also makes you ask more questions than it gives answers but that was their goal. Yes I liked it. would I pay to see it in a theatre probably not but we arent paying to see it in a theatre are we. It was a enjoyable however long the movie is. BTW did I tell you this is the second time i watched it and enjoyed it both times. The way it was filmed (Low Budget) slightly grainy added to the realism of the time it seems to take place maybe in the 1960,s. I may be the exception here but like I said i like unique non main stream movies. It had a close encounters of the 3rd kind feel at times which i loved when it first came out. (Yes I am old). Dont expect huge explosions or special affects but the acting was very believable. the excitement of the unkown was palapable. |
