During an ongoing battle for humanity, a group of rookie space fighter pilots is sent to join the battle against an armada of unbeatable enemy ships. When the trainee pilot and her gunner are shot down, they manage to crash land on a nearby planet. With the gunner mortally wounded and her own life support only set to last two days, our pilot's only option is to fix her ship. The sudden appearance of an enemy craft offers the answer, but as the pilot looks for parts to use on her own ship she is horrified to spot another survivor; an enemy alien soldier who has no intention of letting her escape.

Definitely not like Enemy Mine, it was a far more involved story. This is Sci-Fi on a budget, interesting. Shame there isn't half stars as I'd have given it 2.5 not 3.0.

I Hate those low-budget movies.... wherever they go in the galaxy... and outside.... there is ALWAYS Oxygen, for sound effects of course, and Gravity same as on the earth. Anybody can do this crap with a 10K editing software, all you need is a couple of friends, a couple of weeks and Voilà!

It is fair to say that the title does not say Dune: Drifter, but it DOES say DUNE drifter. It that misleading or what? Attempting to convey a false impression? First impressions count and all that, and the first impression of this was that it has something to do with Dune. And no matter how many times I look at it I still can't get out of my head that it is something to do with Dune :D It would need an exorcism to disabuse me of the false idea that this has something to do with Dune such as it is so impressed into my psyche :D Sigmund Freud would no doubt say that this is because I WANT it to have something to do with Dune :D I cannot let go of my Dune fixation. As I said further up the page, first impressions count and all that. :-@

they spent more on the box cover then they spent on the entire movie low budget and highly disappointing 2/10 for movie 10/10 for audio and video too bad movie was so bad:facepalm
