Hi all!
I'm chasing help to un-confuse me about what to call a particular resolution size!
I downloaded a file that resolution reads as 960 x 540 (16:9) using MediaInfo.
This site https://www.studio1productions.com/Articles/16x9-Resolution.htm tells me that it's not true 16:9 and it's "standard" is "qHD". This makes no sense, isn't qHD higher than HD?
Also should I refer to it as 576p as it's higher than 480p but lower than 720p?

Your confusing QHD with qHD....
QHD (Quad high definition) is 2,560 x 1,440...basically you can fit the same number of pixels as four 720p HD displays into a QHD display of the same size....(Higher than HD but lower than UHD)
qHD (Quarter high definition) is 960 x 540....basically is one quarter of a full 1080p HD display...(Higher than SD but lower than HD)

NO....576p is SD (usually for tv viewing)...576p is 720p x 576p which is standard for PAL tv's or DVD's limited to 25fps
Yours is qHD....it's the first number that makes the difference(horizontal pixels)...720p is standard....960 is higher than standard but not HD.
Two 960p x 540p images side by side with two more on top= 1920p x 1080p (full HD) :_party:_pirate....so you get 4 of your images inside a full 1080pHD image of the same size...making it qHD :_party:_pirate

Edit: incase your wondering...:_pacman....no it won't play as a little box in the middle of your tv:_:D....all players and tv's will expand the pixels to fit so it will double the sizes to play on 1080p HD tv's etc:_party:_pirate

Here is my question: I have recently bought VPS Service Location India, but when I'm looking up location check online, it is showing that I'm based in the USA. I did talk to the team regarding this, and they shared the links to some websites when I opened those on VPS. They said that I'm based in India. I'm confused about what is going on here. Even when I open Netflix, it should show Netflix India content, but it shows Netflix USA content.

I'm no expert, not even close, but I think what you need is a VPN not a VPS. If you google "what's the different between a VPS and VPN" the top result explains it. It appears a VPS server is design to run software and a website whereas a VPN masks your IP/location. Also appears a VPS doesn't mask your IP/location.

For torrenting and viewing content (ie Netflix) in other countries a VPN is what you want.

The experts here might correct me.

Here is a brief of what you are facing
Buying a VPS server doesn't mean your IP will change that can attain by VPN or OpenVPN. After buying VPS Server subscription & checking IP/Location it'll show your PC operable IP/Location since you didn't connect through VPN.

A VPN is only used for one thing keeping your data safe and secure when browsing the internet. A VPS is a service provided by a hosting company in order to host a website or application :_:)

Edit: They shared that IP checker link so that you could check your vps server IP not yours IP. Same goes with Tor Onion Brower, if you Brower from it, that will show bunch of IP that you serf through but if you check your Regular Brower & check your IP it still be the same. You could install OpenVPN on VPS then create client.ovpn specific operating system then import client.ovpn to your PC then connect.

Good morning wonderful folks of TGx I'm trying to spread some love with some encodes and I know we aren't allowed to use private trackers. When you look at a torrents seeds, leechers, and completed mine usually ends up saying -1 on the completed portion...does that mean I'm using a private tracker?

I couldn’t thank everyone enough for the help. I was using just my torrent client to seed but was having issues. I got a seed box and now everything seems to be working perfectly. Again, I thank everyone for the help!!!

Videos belong in the XXX-HD or XXX-SD categories, depending on the resolution
