| Being someone who goes though a ton of torrents we do come across infected files. This being the case if you look in Defender click virus and threat protection, take a quick look at your protection history, if its a long list which you have already got rid of there really is no reason for those to remain so heres how to clean it up. 1. Go to C:ProgramData Microsoft Windows Defender Scans History Service 2. Delete the content in the service folder empty trash done ... This is a simple way to keep a clean history so anything new wont get confused with older crap you have already delt with ... Last edited by Superbikemike on 2022-11-03 14:03:48 | |

| Thanks, Mike, great tutorial my friend Another Tip for readers: Sometimes apps required exclusion to run app, so, if you read on torrent page about False-positive brief and checked VT status, then you folks should understand its harmless infection and require exclusion of alert that it caught, so, simply click on alert and use drop-down menu from right and Click Allow as if app needs admins-right, or put it under Quarantine if no admins right required. (Test it) otherwise put it to allow list, under both ways your system being saved, it doesn't harm anything, so, don't you worry because those false-positives required to enable premium features of an app (In short you can crack app) After that, you clean old junks from logs, as Mike mentioned above. That's it. P.S: As I do Portables and PreActivated apps, several requires exclusion otherwise premium features doesn't work, so do for other uploaders, it's just friendly advice, doesn't mean of anything else! As Far, I have seen, many users complain about apps, when I check never found non-working one, things is they overlook such instructions and how-to purposes, 89% apps doesn't work for them due to non-exclusion, before download and after download! Good luck folks! | |
