| Dear friends, I have MORE shows for you. But first, thanks to Pawpcorn for his reply and for seeding three of his fine torrents to completion. Thanks to BB for posting so many MLs. And thanks again to Pawpcorn for posting several non-MSNBC shows. (I do hope today's Morning Joe First Look will be forthcoming.) Thanks to LarMer for posting his message about Rachel's upcoming book, Blowout. Thanks to some members for their recent PMs; much appreciated. And thank to TGx for posting several of its own releases, including the recent superhero movie, Shazam! (2019). In case you don't know it, this is based on Fawcett's golden age character, Captain Marvel, who says the word 'shazam' to change from Billy Batson, a boy, into the adult superhero. This was the subject of an above average serial. (DC obtained the rights from Fawcett only after they essentially forced Fawcett's comic book line out of business through lengthy litigation.) TGx, like RARBG, offers in-house releases, in addition to Scene releases, as well as independents such as LarMer and Pawpcorn, so it's always a good idea to know that there are alternatives available. (Some non-Scene releases also appear on TPB.) I did get 3 more MLs early this morning after getting Pawpcorn's reply, but by then I had already edited 10 MSNBC shows, gotten one more (TLW) and two lengthy segments (from TLW, which combined cover half the whole show) and posted a message. I then watched the two TLW segments, excellent. I also recommend The Beat's Opening Argument's segment with guest Neal Katyal, former acting Solicitor General. So I was tired, figured Pawpcorn could take up the slack and went to bed and slept and dreamed. When I got back to my PC, there was a blank screen, and it appeared to have locked up. Fortunately NOT fatal. :) So I DLed the handoff and 7 more MSNBC show, and several torrents. Then I edited the new MSNBC shows and uploaded them to Yandex. Then I edited and uploaded 5 earlier segments. MTP Daily (2019.05.20) (gs hs Steve Kornacki).mp4 43:16 The Beat with Ari Melber (2019.05.20).mp4 44:08 Hardball with Chris Matthews (2019.05.20).mp4 43:33 All In with Chris Hayes (2019.05.20).mp4 44:18 The Rachel Maddow Show (2019.05.20).mp4 44:20 The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell (2019.05.20) - Handoff.mp4 3:22 The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell (2019.05.20).mp4 41:34 The 11th Hour with Brian Williams (2019.05.20).mp4 43:49 MSNBC Live with Ali Velshi (2019.05.20) - White House Directs Don McGahn Not to Testify.mp4 [720] 5:29 Morning Joe (2019.05.08) (hs Mika Brzezinski & Joe Scarborough) - Always a Scam.mp4 [720] 20:29 Morning Joe (2019.05.17) (hs Mika Brzezinski & Joe Scarborough) - GOP Snatches Defeat.mp4 [720] 8:03 Morning Joe (2019.05.20) (hs Mika Brzezinski & Joe Scarborough) - Trump, McCarthy Attack Rep. Many of those Republicans in Congress who accept lies, lawlessness, obstruction and tyranny will suffer a tremendous defeat and be swept out of office. Yes, there will still be conservatives, moderates, liberals, libertarians, independents and progressives, but the clear majority of Americans and its leaders do NOT wants a lawless, corrupt government that lies constantly and conspires with a foreign adversary to subvert our democracy, our constitution, and our American way of life. Americans for the most part do NOT want tyranny, fascism, or dictatorship, and too many see that if what's been done to others -- such as those seeking a better life -- have their young children ripped from their arms, that neo-Nazis can enter churches and synagogues and murder Jews and Blacks with near impunity yet nothing is done to control this terrorism -- then a tipping point starts to be reached where a sense of urgency will become more and more pervasive and the backlash will be against Trump, his cronies, and the Republicans writ large, who have enabled him. Trump is a CRIMINAL. Yes, he can be clever an amusing at times, but most Americans do not want a blatant criminal, who lies incessantly, has overt narcissistic personality disorder and has engaged in massive obstruction of justice and treasonous conspiracy, to be the leader of our great nation. Eventually people will see what Trump has wrought and more and more will demand his removal. At some point prior to the next election, I predict that he will be forced out of office, once enough of his misconduct is exposed. The patterns he has exhibited are very clear-cut to me, and he cannot and will not fundamentally change. He is on frankly a ruinous path, and like the legend of Icarus who flew too close to the Sun, Trump won't be able to stop himself from crossing too many lines. He won't have any allies, not Jared, nor Barr, who will be able to convince him otherwise. Trump thinks he's virtually invulnerable, that he can truly get away with anything, and that NO one can stop him. He feels he has the team, including Barr, who will carry out his plans. Hitler has similar feelings. But Trump's denouement, will come like that of the scoundrel Sen. Joe McCarthy, when he and his Roy Cohn, simply went too far. Some people, especially those with megalomanic tendencies, are excessively prone to overestimate their ability to control dangerous situations, especially when -- like Trump -- they've been generally so successful. After all, he feels he's at the height of his success, has the AG he wants and rid his cabinet of all who had opposed him. He even vanquished opponents in the Senate. So he thinks he's now unstoppable and all that remains are only obstacles. To him, he thinks victory is at hand, and it's only a matter of time. Unfortunately for him, like the Death Star in Star Wars, it had a fatal weakness, which the Resistance exploited, which led to its destruction. And unfortunately for Mr. Trump, he has way TOO many weaknesses; these will become known, exposed and exploited, and he will fall. Mark my words, this will happen. Regards, drhankh | |

| I've thought about it but have no reasonable guesses. The part that most perplexes me is that the Full Episode link is available via RSS, but RSS no longer lists the segments. And why would someone be continuing the work of putting together the Full Episode, given that the link for it is no longer available on the main TB page? A Full Episode doesn't happen by itself (automated); a human has to go over it for things like copyright violations for music. So to do that work and then only expose it via RSS...weird! You and I have both sent complaints to the "usual suspects," without result. At this point, I've decided to keep my mouth shut, because I'm concerned that too much noise about it could lead to no Full Episode at all. | |

'Bill Clinton got disbarred for committing perjury ... 'get the attorney general of the United States disbarred.' -- fmr Rep. | I was 55 minutes into recording "First Look" yesterday, when we lost electrical power, (FIRST of FOUR OUTAGES, over the course of the evening) during an amazingly intense tropical lightening storm. The Internet here, today, is still sketchy, already aborting my first attempt at recording the "CUOMO Prime Time" show. Luckily, it seems I've secured (what appears at quick inspection) a GOOD copy of "AC360" Thank you for your positive words regarding my posting of CNN's high-end prime time line up; I find their aggressive reporting and approach to the issues are very similar to MSNBC's, often with new and additional information and insights... I totally grasp that's it's probably odd, to some at least, that I've chosen to post these within our "MSNBC Shows" forum... but this situation, as life itself, is rarely nice and neat, nor logical, eh? I consider it a "convenient" outlet for these terrific shows (short of establishing a "CNN Shows" forum, which I'm not inclined to do). I happen to believe that we can post epub books, youtube links, and MANY source materials that are beyond the implied content of a forum titled "MSNBC Shows" without any negative connotations; instead, a positive-intended sharing of valuable news insight and information IMHO. Thank you too, for your efforts to share such a wide variety of news / shows... along with your desire to add some discussion to this forum... something I have MUCH wished for, for some time now. In an effort to attract new public members to join our forum, I've started including this following message to the tail of my torrents: Please keep seeding this torrent, as long as possible. :-) Visit our "MSNBC Shows" Forum group, here on Torrent Galaxy, by clicking HERE! Lastly... in connection to your comments about Joe Scarborough, and the Morning Joe show: Living abroad, prior to current times, I had never had the access to this show, in earlier years, so I apparently missed witnessing the earlier ultra-conservative side of Joe's political persona. Since you were with us back in the earlier KAT days... you perhaps noticed and actually read my ULTRA-STRONG PLEADING with Bear... to start posting the "master links" to the show. Bear CLEARLY detested Joe Scarborough, but was so very kind, to reverse his earlier decision to NOT post the master links to the show. Personally? I think (aside from Joe and Mika) the AMAZING talent line-up that appear daily on the show... make this show "second to none". Frankly... it's an astounding show. Just try to contrast this show to CNN's BEST ATTEMPT to compete during this 6am-9am morning show line up??? No wish to slam CNN, but frankly... their "New Day" show... more than pales, in direct comparison. I believe this is due to the BROAD talent within the MJ show... but too, in Joe's new-found consciousness... his editorializing STRONG CALLING OUT of Trump and his shameful administration... is refreshing... to my mind, at least. "Speaking Truth to Power" never looked so good... before. EVERY day... I do my best to try to watch at least the first 1/2 hour of the show, since in addition to the above mentioned features... I see this portion of the show as a preview of what the political news of the day... will be, over the span of the day. Finally... it's a damn shame that MSNBC has chosen to pick and chose only about 45 minutes of the 2 and a half hour show!!! (Hour 3 starts {usually} with a 1/2 hour repeat of Hour 1) A DAMN SHAME. Due to many personal factors (time / sleep /etc.) I'm unable to capture the entire 3 hours of the show. MSNBC can capture 84 minutes of the two hour AM JOY show, but ONLY 44 minutes worth of the Morning Joe Show??? SHAME ON THEM!!! :warn:warn:warn This is why I include this addition to the posting of the resultant MJ show, daily: Above Show Segments omitted from this shortened 1 hour version are viewable at the link below: Note: If an advertisement starts, just hit the F5 key to refresh the screen. Enjoy! LINK: {ALL Segments Above} http://www.msnbc.com/morning-joe/episodes#!#full-episodes Then there's the oddity of their removal of "The Beat with Ari Melber" public-facing streaming web page... without explanation. :-@ Last edited by Pawpcorn on 2019-05-22 06:39:42

On Hardball Congresswoman Madeleine Dean said, "It is a grave day and that's why today I actually decided to make an important statement to both my committee, to my chairman, and to my leadership that we must open an impeachment inquiry." The Washington Post reports that: "A confidential Internal Revenue Service legal memo says tax returns must be given to Congress unless the president takes the rare step of asserting executive privilege." As President Trump continues to test the limits of the power of his presidency, he has been stonewalling Congress at every turn. Leon Panetta joins Hardball. I totally grasp that's it's probably odd, to some at least, that I've > chosen to post these within our "MSNBC Shows" forum... but this situation, > as life itself, is rarely nice and neat, nor logical, eh? I consider it > a "convenient" outlet for these terrific shows ... instead, a positive- > intended sharing of valuable news insight and information IMHO. Well when the forum started out at KAT 1, it was misseps, since he started it; Bearwolf (aka Furrbear) started the second version at KAT 2. After KAT 2 lost a lot of our data, the three of you, BB, LarMer and yourself, decided to recreate the forum at TGx, and since the three of you created it, it's up to you what to post in it. Neither BB nor LarMer has ever publicly objected to what you've been posting, and TGx certainly doesn't care what shows you post as torrents. The emphasis is, I suppose, on sharing media that is critical of Trump, and what you've posted fits in with that rubric. > Thank you too, for your efforts to share such a wide variety of news / shows > ... You're welcome; I'm glad to see that you appreciate that. > ... along with your desire to add some discussion to this forum... something > I have MUCH wished for, for some time now. Thanks; unfortunately I had to bide my time and wait for a moment when it was truly propitious. (I think people are still trying to absorb one of my recent messages.) I did a calculation and sensed that there was a confluence of circumstances where my audience would be receptive and the information would be momentous, especially as I monitored the portents and signposts. I had to wait for certain key events and changes to occur, like the Mueller Report's release and Trump's total stonewalling, so that people would be in a position to better appreciate the points I would be making. > Lastly... in connection to your comments about Joe Scarborough, and the > Morning Joe show: Living abroad, prior to current times, I had never had > the access to this show, in earlier years, so I apparently missed witnessing > the earlier ultra-conservative side of Joe's political persona. They actually had a video podcast that ran about 30 to 40 minutes (M-F) that I had subscribed to. > Since you were with us back in the earlier KAT days... you perhaps noticed > and actually read my ULTRA-STRONG PLEADING with Bear... to start posting > the "master links" to the show. Bear CLEARLY detested Joe Scarborough, but > was so very kind, to reverse his earlier decision to NOT post the master links > to the show. Yes, I have been here since the beginning and read ALL of your correspondence that was posted with BearWolf. Keep in mind that I had been communicating with him via PMs for a very long time, so I know how he thought and felt. In fact, I had developed a psychological profile of him. I suggested posting master links for Deadline: White House, and he agreed to that and coaxed you into posting that show, and then we went for The Beat. I lobbied quietly behind the scenes, and I knew that since you were posting torrents of so many shows, and you asked so solicitously, that he could not bear to turn you down. :) > Personally? I think (aside from Joe and Mika) the AMAZING talent line-up > that appear daily on the show... make this show "second to none". Frankly... > it's an astounding show. Just try to contrast this show to CNN's > BEST ATTEMPT to compete during this 6am-9am morning show line up??? ... Unfortunately, Morning Joe had two hosts and the one named Joe was a former Republican, who Furrbear viewed as being way too conservative, even though Furrbear didn't watch the show at all. I didn't watch it all the time, but I knew that she was a liberal and that her father, Zbigniew, had been the National Security Advisor for President Carter. Yes, sometimes Joe said things that annoyed me, but I knew the co-host and most of the guests, and could see him evolving rather steadily over time. As his relationship with Mika evolved and Trump became President, and Joe was surrounded by this solid supporting cast, he learned from them (and Trump's evil) and fully came around. > I believe this is due to the BROAD talent within the MJ show... Yes, as I stated above. > ... but too, in Joe's new-found consciousness... his editorializing > STRONG CALLING OUT of Trump and his shameful administration... is > refreshing... to my mind, at least. Exactly; this is why I have started posting some longer 720p clips. > "Speaking Truth to Power" never looked so good... before. EVERY day... I do > my best to try to watch at least the first 1/2 hour of the show, since in > addition to the above mentioned features... I see this portion of the show > as a preview of what the political news of the day... will be, over the span > of the day. Ok. > Finally... it's a damn shame that MSNBC has chosen to pick and chose only about > 45 minutes of the 2 and a half hour show!!! (Hour 3 starts {usually} with a 1/2 > hour repeat of Hour 1) A DAMN SHAME. Due to many personal factors (time / sleep > /etc.) I'm unable to capture the entire 3 hours of the show. MSNBC can capture > 84 minutes of the two hour AM JOY show, but ONLY 44 minutes worth of the > Morning Joe Show??? SHAME ON THEM!!! :warn:warn:warn I think the management decided trying to repost 2 or 3 hours would have been overkill. > This is why I include this addition to the posting of the resultant MJ show, > daily: This is something I plan to address with you privately in the future; we need to be able to capture the master links and make segments easily downloadable. I doubt too many people want to try watching the segments online at the MSNBC site. > Then there's the oddity of their removal of "The Beat with Ari Melber" > public-facing streaming web page... without explanation. :-@ I've seen the correspondence about this (you and BB I think), but I'm not sure what that page you are referring to is; it's probably not one that I've accessed much, if at all, lately. | WATCH: Congresswoman stunned as Trump’s housing chief Ben Carson confuses foreclosures with Oreo cookies Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson appeared before the House Oversight Committee, where he needed a Democratic congresswoman to get him up to speed on some basics of his job. Carson, who has served as President Donald Trump’s HUD secretary since early 2017, appeared unfamiliar with basic terms and acronyms cited by Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA) as she questioned him on foreclosures and other housing issues. Report Advertisement “Do you know what an REO is?” asked Porter, a former University of California-Irvine professor and public interest lawyer. Carson seemed baffled: “An Oreo?” Porter, who wrote one of the first academic studies of foreclosure fraud, slowly spelled out the difference between the phonetically similar acronym and brand-name cookie. “No, not an Oreo,” she said. “An REO.” “Real estate,” Carson guessed. “What’s the ‘O’ stand for?” Porter asked. “Organization?” he said. Porter explained that REO stood for real estate-owned property, which was the term used when property goes into foreclosure, before she tried to resume asking the Cabinet secretary on the issues that concerned her constituents. Afterward, the congresswoman expressed shock that Carson lacked such basic knowledge about his job. “I asked @SecretaryCarson about REOs – a basic term related to foreclosure – at a hearing today,” Porter tweeted. “He thought I was referring to a chocolate sandwich cookie. No, really.” Last edited by Pawpcorn on 2019-05-22 17:37:31

| Hi Pawpcorn and BB, Pawpcorn, I read your recent message and researched the issue thoroughly and now understand what happened. Pawpcorn wrote: > Then there's the oddity of their removal of "The Beat with Ari Melber" > public-facing streaming web page... without explanation. :-@ > drhankh wrote: > I've seen the correspondence about this (you and BB I think), but I'm not > sure what that page you are referring to is; it's probably not one that > I've accessed much, if at all, lately. Pawpcorn wrote: > BUT the former link to the former streaming page for "The Beat...": > ...reveals a page with no such streaming link, nor segment links > organized specifically to the most recent day's segments. Okay, the previous page: > http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc-live-ari-melber/episodes#!#full-episodes had been removed, and it redirects to this newer page: > https://www.msnbc.com/the-beat-with-ari-melber I actually had visited the above page recently and used information from it in one of my earlier PMs to you about how to DL some of his web videos: > Ari Melber has a series of video interviews called > Mavericks with Ari Melber. Here's one of them: > https://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/watch/chloe-grace-moretz-why-fear-can-be-liberating-1387568195644 > I'd like to be able to DL these and share them. Do they are need ML > decoding? What confused me was your description of the earlier page as "public-facing streaming web page," a term I'd never seen before. Yes, I was basically aware of the change; however, BB was posting the MLs, and you and LarMer were posting the segment information; you posted the titles and descriptions, while he just posted the titles. I periodically copied these from your posts on the TGx and KAT forums; I pasted them into my own NFOs that I created for each MSNBC show that I was DLing using MLs or that Furrbear had posted at Yandex. Since the two of you were doing this task, I didn't see too much of a need to do it myself. I should mention that I generally access this information using Lynx, a character based web browser, and lately just DL the full information for myself for select shows, such as DWH, TLW and sometimes TRMS. I noted that TB had been changed and that I was blocked from accessing it via Lynx, so I simply stopped trying to get that information. There are certain shows that I typically watch quite frequently, and these include DWH, TB, and TLW. Aside from the fact that we both like Nicolle, I like her usual lineup of guests, including Frank Figliuzzi, Chuck Rosenberg, Matthew Miller, Jonathan Lemire, John Heilemann, Jeremy Bash, and Donny Deutsch. Ari is an attorney, and his guests include Tony Schwartz and Neal Katyal. Lawrence is a former Senate staffer, and he offers in depth analysis. So I didn't really NEED the segment information for Ari's show, since I always DL it and usually watch all or most of it (generally skipping Fallback Friday). But is it nice documentation and good to get, and I have from time to time lamented that it wasn't readily available. The only page of his that I regularly access is this: > http://www.msnbc.com/transcripts/msnbc-live-with-ari-melber I DL all transcripts where John Flannery is a guest. Anyhow, I did a syncretic analysis a bit earlier, and my findings with a high degree of confidence are that someone on Ari's staff redid the cookie cutter MSNBC show webpage, with the intent to highlight Ari's unique 'empire' of special features, segments like Opening Arguments and Fallback Fridays and the aforementioned Mavericks with Ari Melber. I am quite confident that the web designer Ari used simply wasn't aware of the 'Full Episodes' or their significance to some members of Ari's audience or that some of them want to know what segments are included in each episode. The designer was simply trying to pitch attention to these 'unique' or 'special' features, and no one really realized that he screwed up. BB wrote: > ... And why would someone be continuing the work of putting together > the Full Episode, given that the link for it is no longer available > on the main TB page? ... So to do that work and then only expose it > via RSS...weird! This is an example of 'one hand doesn't know what the other is doing.' The persons who create the Full Episodes simply don't know, don't realize that they aren't appearing on Ari's page. In fact, they have no idea what's on his page. They just assume when they create the full ep. and ML, it will get posted just like all the others do. It's not their job to double-check each show's webpage to ensure their producers are properly posting links to the shows. BB wrote: > You and I have both sent complaints to the "usual suspects," without result. And just exactly how do you do that? By Twitter? By filling out a form? And how are you identified? As "burningbush" or "Pawpcorn"? Do you use these aliases or real names? The alias are fine for forums like this but if you want to reach professional people who work at a corporation, you will need to comport as professionals that are accountable real people with names, or you will likely be ignored. BB wrote: > At this point, I've decided to keep my mouth shut, because I'm concerned > that too much noise about it could lead to no Full Episode at all. Understandable. If the two of you would share with me (PMs are fine) how you have attempted to contact people at The Beat, I will look into it. I seem to recall Ari telling people that he could emailed via No emails posted here please-use pm's I typically use my real name in the real world. | Hi members, Some of you may have noticed that my last message had been edited by someone; that individual replaced one line that pertained to Ari Melber mentioning his email address on air (on The Beat) for viewers to contact him with comments or questions. The individual wrote "... please-use pm's." That person was an Admin, and my impression was that he/she didn't know who 'Ari' was, even though his full name and show name of The Beat with Ari Melber were mentioned several times. Apparently my message wasn't actually read and that an assumption was made that 'Ari' was a member of TGx that could be contacted via PMs; of course as an attorney who works for a large cable TV network, he'd be quite unlikely to join TGx, which after all is a torrent sharing site. :-) Nonetheless this alteration put a damper on my mood and activities, and perhaps others as well, since for hours I didn't notice any activity on our thread (and still don't). Nonetheless, I made a good faith effort at times to grab some shows and was actually able to DL quite a few; I got some coffee and finished editing them.
