I've been tinkering away at an algorithm that detects duplicates in porn downloads...

...it's kinda simplistic, parsing of names and looking at scene duration...but...

...but...each of these problems open up a universe of other things to explore...

...you hack a solution to get it working...then you understand a little bit more...

...then it's an enticing challenge...

Some of them have already been solved, some not...that's not the point...

...the point is...it's fun...

I was looking at all the posts being confused about Doctor Who episodes released today and the specials from last year. This is what I've found.

This says 2024 on TMDB and 2023 on IMDB, but both say it's season 1 of a new show.

The specials with the 10th Doctor are in the unknown of this new season 1.
The special with the new doctor is set as S1.E0 ∙ The Church on Ruby Road

I don't think it matters that TVDB calls it season 14.

Officially it has been rebooted (for the woke folk:_facepalm )...and to "re-sell" it to Muricano etc they have to package it as a different show:_facepalm
NOT A BBC SHOW:_:O:_:O:_:O...the "BBC" actually comission and pay for it to be made by "BBC STUDIO'S" which is an off-shoot arm of the BBC but NOT...i repeat NOT answerable to licence fee payers in the U.K. as it's a "Private Entity" in it's own right:_facepalm:_facepalm
Basically the "BBC" is now selling all it's show's through "BBC STUDIO'S" so as to funnel profits outside the corporation...and therefore ripping off the actual people who payed for the fuggin sheeeeite in the first place.:_facepalm:_yuk:_pacman:_facepalm:_facepalm

the last official Doctor Who finished in 2022...(2005 - 2022)
This new "resaleable" Doctor Whaddafuq is marketed as "Doctor Whoawhatnow 2024 Season 1"...hopefully the only one as this is just garbage imo:_:-):_:-):_:-)

Really really fukn stoned right now, thinking about when i was a kid collecting tadpoles and turtles at the lake :_:-):_:-):_:-) always had a bad of frogs in my bedroom when i was a kid use to feed them candy. In the back yard i use to use twine and make a loop and put bread in the middle and when a bird landed and walked into the loop i would pull the string and catch the birds and keep them in my room :_:-):_:-):_:-)
