Yes same here, Downloading starts and I will seed it as much I can. :)
And tracker that showed seed before it's down now (the usual thing they will up after a little while) so that's the reason I think status not getting changed until unless file completes and then tracker will announce updated seed counts. (As you know always believe your torrent client seed counts besides what you see at the torrent page, at the torrent page it takes some time to get updated).

hello , i'm unsure if this is the correct place as it's not really a torrent problem but more of a seeding on client page problem , any way it's a problem :):-(
the torrent names show green and seeding for a short period of time then turn a dull brown/red (similar to the bar colour when files are missing) but still show seeding , i'm not sure about this , any clarification please , are they seeding etc

i have tried force starting them , this again is successful for a short time before the dull brown appears .

i've had a problem with the upload client today , when creating a new T it doesn't pick up on the files stored on the PC .

Especially this area: 7) What do the red icons mean on the torrent status icons & tracker stopped working?

EDITED: Red color appears on utorrent client old versions like 2.2.1 etc! on newer versions or recent built they will appear in dull brown. in short, both considered as Red.

This usually means your not connecting to the trackers, it appears as if they are down...?
Pause your uploads in your client, then exit it/close it.
run ccleaner, this gets rid of the 5 bittorent .dat files stored and lets you reconnect with your trackers.
Everything turns green again when you turn it back on.

Its usually caused be a break/loss in your connection, check your VPN if using one.
im no pro but this always works for me.

I usually see that on my seedbox when there aren't any active downloaders trying to get the torrent. And it normally turns green once it connects to a downloader/leecher.

Do ask someone to download one of the torrents and check if the same turns green or shows you as one of the seeders in their client.

As Sam and others have said Red usually means an error with your trackers, I had a look at your recent torrents
and notice you are still using "udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80/announce" this tracker is showing as your
top or first pick tracker.
udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80/announce has been gone for at least 3 years and your torrents with run a lot
better if you don't include it :)

I have recently downloaded a few files from "Babupc" but every zip file within the torrents fail to unzip, stating that they are either corrupted or not archived correctly [Window Title]

this has become rather annoying now as cant run any keygens for files as cant get them unzipped.  I am desperately looking for serial or key-gen for Adobe Acrobat DC Pro.  Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated.

As far as I can see BABUPC uses RAR files, not ZIP files, so Winzip (or Windows) wont open them.

You need to use Winrar (or I prefer to use 7-Zip).

Luc1f3r666:_male: Yes, Torrent links please, Maybe i can assist you with the method if they are scene group releases, And a bunch of scene releases required a different method to Extract like select other parts or a .id file among extraction, etc! plus it's possible that the required volume also missing from the backend, (It's an uploader thing to consider before uploading to test parts because a bunch of scene releases waste of download especially from the DVT group.) According to your start sentences, it sounds to me definitely a scene release.

Above to battlestar:_trusted_uploader::_sitefriend::_male::_sitelover::_junkie: About using software to Extract, you can determine that on the torrent list, if you see any compressed file contains .7z  then use 7zip and if you see .rar then you must use Winrar to extract them. recommended Winrar only because all the groups compress those files via Winrar.

Sorry, but this is not completely true.
Yes, if the extension is .7z then you will have to use 7-Zip.

However, 7zip will happily uncompress both rar and zip files.
I use it everyday, I dont have winrar or winzip installed anymore.

there was a problem uplaoding a torrent. In practice it is not possible to access the content page. I would like to know if it is possible to delete it because I understand the problem and would like to upload it again.

Hi, I was given uploader status a few hours ago. I made a torrent, added trackers and shared/uploaded it. But a lot of the peers are getting connection reset. At least one peer is downloading it, so something must be right, but I can't figure out why the others are being reset.

I'm not that knowledgeable on the tech stuff,I apologize for that but tried downloading & it was coming down fast at my end ,don't know if that means anything or not just thought I would let you know.Torrent is in moderation by another staff member.

It helps to ease my mind that people can connect. I have a few downloading now. I used the latest list of trackers I found elsewhere on the forum so in theory it should be ok. I just wondered why I had connections reset.
