Glad it worked out for you sherb. I remember on the old site, the captcha wouldn't load unless I disabled my ad blockers but I didn't have that problem on the new site.

Well, someone already mentioned, there are some bugs and error pop-up suddenly, they are configuring features and making it stable, such categories also missing and they are informed.

Other than that, as I said usual bugs and error appears suddenly that might be a Reason for anyone who gets failed while registering, July 13th, 2019 at after midnight, My browser was Firefox, Adblock Plus was enabled with the all above option, (blocking trackers, icon, etc) Trust me I signed up easily and Captcha did not bother at any part. :) A pop-up window does open when you click register or log in simpy close it. and I can easily Login, Captcha works even my Adblock plus is enabled.

Captcha problem or register problem might get failed probably when they were working to fix such things, (it happens on all site when site tech try to upgrade site while it's online) otherwise, Adblock would never be an issue to registration. Excuses please, I didn't mean that anyone wrong with the experiment, So I spat out mine. Cheers!

So what you're saying is, it was just my timing when registering? My adblocker and other exts are all up and running now and I've no problems entering the site or with the captcha, some hiccups here and there about the site, but as you said Sam they'll still be fixing things. :)

as a past limited user and visitor to Demonoid I thought I might ' register ' , no luck .
It rejects the e-mail I used to join this site.

Given up , i can visit as a guest or just DL from numerous other sites.

Its kinda concerning that your working place doesn't use up-to-date browsers.

PS: I guess tls 1.3 can mitigate ddos as requests won't be served if the ddos script / site doesn't support it.

JFYI, they removed the forced TLS 1.3 a couple of days later, I joined after that. B)

after reading the post about our loss, had not been checking on it. Unfortunate that this is a "fan account" (functionally since old logins and data is gone), but glad to be back. Other than the esoteric collection and being semi-private, I think logging in and seeing my ratio up there at the top is one of the things I miss the most (and that was back when i didnt have a seedbox).
