I have reviewed everything.  I added your top six trackers, image ready to load etc.  I have a prepared description which is detailed.  However I don't put long lists of log elements in.  If a log from something ike  MediaInfo is needed I'll need to know.  It's late here.  I'll finish the posting  at noon or so my time tomorrow and will look for any replies before doing so.

Alrightee then.  Done and Done.  The upload is complete
I will watch the feed and as dowloaders are added will put all the bandwidth on it untill the
initial seed completes.  The picture turned out nice, which was the subject of this long thread.

Check the work and advise.  I'll look back later.

A limited initial seed but with regular submissions it may get better.  I've never had big numbers.
A new one for submission in a week (I usually upload Saturday or Sunday at the noon hour) is
the NTLive Danny Boyle's Frankenstein.  Very seasonal.  Not the CAM that has been out for a long time.

And what is the policy to add existing torrents?  My archive is large

I have made another entry today.  This is from a DVD which I have access to.
Give a shout if it looks ok-- or not.

hi loninappleton:_trial_uploader: looks cool but you could put an image in the description and a title in large letters and lined in the centre of the description....

Shakespears Globe On Screen Twelfth Night 2017

Shakespeare's Twelfth Night or what you will 2017 performed live at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre

Summary from the Globe

Twins Sebastian and Viola are shipwrecked on the coast of Illyria, separated and believing
each other to be dead. Beside herself with grief, Viola disguises herself as a boy and goes
into the service of the Duke Orsino. The Duke, madly in love with the Countess Olivia,
sends Viola to woo on his behalf. What could possibly go wrong? Olivia falls in love with
the cross-dressed page while Viola falls deep and fast for Orsino. Meanwhile, mischievous
servants play painful pranks at each other’s expense.

Cast and creatives

Directed for the stage by  Emma Rice
Directed for the screen by Ian Russell

Cast

Antonio                       Pieter Lawman
complete cast and creatives in the credit roll

My notes

This  is my recode of the DVD edition of Emma Rice' Twelfth Night at the Globe.
With the full DVD box the notes pay particular attention on what is called above painful
pranks.  Also the fact that Twelfth Night would be played at holiday season like Christmas.

The Globe has committed two productions of Twelfth Night to media.  An earlier production
which was a crowd favorite is in my archive.  That collection is being reseeded.
The earlier Twelfth Night with Mark Rylance playing Olivia and Paul Chahidi playing Maria
was  an original practices production-- it had an all male cast for the roles as in Elizabethan times.

Emma Rice's style is unique and not traditional for the Globe.  I suppose it's only
fitting that the non-traditional of 2017 mirrors the original practices performance of
2014.  Both are to enjoy.  The DVDs are of course available in all the usual outlets  for schools and libraries.

I have made a new upload.  But I want to take it down to correct some file naming problems from
edit.

Under My Uploads I see my brief file list but not a user delete.  This is a housekeeping thing for me and I may let it go if the seed gets established.  But for the future, what is the method for user delete of the posted upload?

  • Go to Torrent page: https://torrentgalaxy.to/torrent/13832502/RSC-Live-Shakespeare-s-Measure-for-Measure---2018-

  • Click "Edit/Delete Torrent"..

  • then, on next page u will find a simple form to fill out (MODERATOR will remove for ya) :)

Ok.  I'd rather just be more careful but working with various versions and edits (you can see they say Keep on 'em)
even with trying to be meticulous I screwed up.  But sending it to a moderator looks like it could take time
and then with two up, be confusing.  I would rather have control over my own post.

More on picture images.  I saw another thread here where they talked about using Imgr and whatnot for
    their jpg, png etc image.

I have many torrents going which have no pics and no watermarks ("downloaded from....")

What are the posting rules for that whether it be recodes or rips from original DVDs?   I have both.

And to add an image is it a simple upload as it seems to be for accessing the content folder?  That's where
I've saved the images for the torrents  at TGx.

Lastly I wondered about current torrent search engines-- specifically ones that don't run in a browser.
I only know of one and use that nearly exclusively.  But  Bit Che by Chris Warner  is not up to date since 2016.
Now it is a fee based upgrade which I'm reluctant to do.  There are reasons but enough said.   Are there other outside the
browser dedicated torrent search engines which are up to date?

  • rips from original DVDs would be best   (or if there's credit to be given, u can add in the description)

  • Yes, the 2nd button (Choose File) in the upload form..   (no need for imgur, etc)

  • Not sure..  never used them to be honest

I have made a new entry.  Will watch for confirmation.

Above I mentioned my torrents that are in circulation without TGx or any watermarks.  No reply so I'll select one in a few days after this Frankenstein gets circulated and see what happens.

Is there a check I can do to see if I have my magnet set up correctly through Tixati?
I have done the action to 'share' but I don't know if that is working for downloaders of the torrent.

On all the word processing highlights it's been too many years for me to remember how code colors fonts etc.
I have an image in the torrent, what more is there to do about that?

Quite frankly I always feel 'under the gun' doing this from previous indexes where there  always seems to be
a process 'tapping it's big toe'  for me to complete the action (such as a  complex text edit .)
My text notes do not transfer well as it is after doing some columnar things for actors and such.

The make process of uploads here is a lot easier and well laid out than I had elsewhere.

Just post it here,  someone will try it out..         (right click > copy magnet link)

All your uploads have Images + Descriptions,  whatever you're doing is working fine
Just go at your own pace, &  try not to over-complicate the process ;)

    A problem.

The current upload I have is in moderation.  It's called Red Hot, a film from 1993.  The image is distorted.
Being in moderation,  I tried to get it down to  find a better image.

Several sources gave the same results.  Mods, please give a solution.  Right now Red Hot 1993 is in limbo.
The torrent is made new for this upload.

Looks like it's going already.  Well ok, that's what I wanted.  No clue on how the distortion happened.  I use Win7 Paint
and saved to png which is about the limit of my knowledge.  In Paint it only displays in a corner but was not distorted.

Is there a different file format that does not distort?  Perhaps a fix can be made at TGx.

    Should be an easy fix.
Go to torrent page > Edit/Delete Torrent > Upload new cover

Add this where it says "or input image cover URL here"
    https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BMTYzMDExNzA2N15BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwNTYyMTMyMQ@@._V1_UY1200_CR16,0,630,1200_AL_.jpg

(this was grabbed from a quick Web Search) ;)

Sometimes it's easier to find an image with a Web Search.

This is how it looks with the URL i posted above :)
    Image error

Very attractive.  I have no idea how to web search a good pic or a bad pic though.  If it's just a matter of
pointing to a url search I suppose I can do that, but how to get it to look right for cropping 'in the wild'?  The url you show does not look like a common type.

I have one I want to do soon  in a week.    Is there a  preview method where I can build a
sample without actual posting-- a sandbox I think it's called.
