| Hey all, so I finally found the about me thread lol. As the song goes for some old people who know it, I come from a land down under. Well if you hadn’t seen my other post which went briefly into my online history. Then let’s see if I can write a wall of text here lol and I’m a little bored tonight too. I was around for the sometimes poop-show that was rlslog back in 09 I think. So basically I it was around then that I stopped recording most stuff on a TiVo, and started the journey into the tv sharing scene. I can’t remember the years for when I was a member and mod on a dj mixes forum, but this was before I started with the tv scene. I think this was around 2003 until it closed years later. I think also around that time (2009), I got back into watching “anime” as the precious weebs call it, if you’re not from Japan then you call it cartoons. Due to my lack of knowledge back then, I started on the mini-transcodes. I think it was on a site called dark legends. Some of the transcodes were better than others. Then I think not long after, I found another sharing site called animetake I think. Then finally found the mother lode for sharing cartoons: nyaa. Been a member on both of the incarnations. Just started posting there too after hiatus. Oh I was also a member then mod, I think it was a tv sharing forum called oliv3r? While I’ve been dl’ing the file , I actually got into torrenting quite late. Don’t know why but I be was still grabbing from site like megaupload and rapidshare lol I was also on tpb for a while, but obviously never went back there after new owners and then they started browser crypto mining to fund their site costs. Around that time, was it started 2013 onwards for a while? The feud between rarbg and the other scene group that I can’t remember the name of at the moment. I still have some of their releases I think. I was on kat for a while too. Then I think I actually found rarbgs site lol. And split my time between there and 1337x. Unless I’ve forgotten something, I think that’s it for now lol. Thanks for reading if you did! TL;DR yeah I’m old lol | |
