The moon is moving away from the Earth at a tiny, although measurable, rate every year. 85 million years ago it was orbiting the Earth about 35 feet from the planet's surface.

On some othe plane in some parallel universe farfar away and long ago, maybe. Pretty scrary image but , back then it would have been 2000 miles closer and looked twice the size it does now https://ww2.kqed.org/quest/2011/12/02/luna-nova-moon-of-the-cretaceous-skies/

Looking for the weirdest places on earth? How about this terrifying lake? Animals that die in this African lake are turned into statues, through calcification. The presence of huge volumes of sodium bicarbonate ensures they turn into mummies. And because of the high alkaline collection, the lake looks red in color. This is the reason why this lake is also known as the ‘Petrifying Lake’. In spite of all these conditions, it is grazing ground for the Lesser Flamingos. Fancy a dip? Don’t even think about it!

Is Nessie Real or Fake

For a long time i have always been intrigued about the Loch Ness Monster :) have seen many documentaries regarding if a creature
does actually live in the lake

So many sightings over the years and yes some fake but what if there was actually a colony of them that survived for many years.
Loch Ness is so deep with caves that it could be possible they are living there
.

Well just my theory but i think something must be there and hopefully one day if its not Nessie maybe we will get facts what has been lurking in the Loch for many years :) xx

Now Nessie I think comes under religious doctrines and no man can argue that and make sense. Now I ask you can he? who is this he guy? Let's just say I'd like it if Nessie and all the legends were real. Now there was that time in Mill Valley and the 4 of us had dropped and Big Foot tried to get into the house , but that's a story for another day.    B)

Lake Natron in northern Tanzania is one of the harshest environments on Earth. Temperatures in the lake can rise to 140 °F (60 °C) and the alkalinity is between pH 9 and pH 10.5, almost as alkaline as ammonia. Animals who enter the water are almost certainly doomed, save certain kinds of fish that have evolved to survive in such a caustic environment.

While working Africa photographer Nick Brandt stopped by the lake to discover several dead animals on the shoreline. Birds and other small mammals that end up in the water gradually become calcified, turned to stone in the deadly water. Brandt tells NewScientist, “I could not help but photograph them. No one knows for certain exactly how they die, but it appears that the extreme reflective nature of the lake’s surface confuses them, and like birds crashing into plate glass windows, they crash into the lake.”

According to the research conducted by Deutsche Welle Turkish Service; In 2018 the number of women killed as a result of male violence in Turkey 300. Turkey's population of 70 million and stabbed by 2018. 300 Turkish woman man, firearms, drowning were killed. The majority of these events are caused by the jealousy of men. In my country, there is a concept called honor killing, and if you are a married and divorced woman, you will never be with another man. Or your ex-husband will come and kill you.

Don't despair male orb-weaver spiders have two penises.
After leaving its detachable penis to finish inseminating the female, the male orb-web spider will fight to the death to protect the impregnated female and fend off other males
